Re: Dishwasher – Best buys: Performance / Cost

    Hi Debbie

For a fully integrated 12 place dishwasher at that price!!! Your`e not going to get an appliance that is going to last and last. I wonder how quiet this machine is and how well it is built. So yes while it looks like a bargain on the surface the old saying goes ” you get what you pay for” still applies 😉 .

Have a look at a Bosch SGV53E03GB this will cost more but it is a very quiet 52db AAA rated dishwasher of a good build and comes with a two year warranty. Nationwide service cover just a phone call away.

AEG F35080Vi another good machine AAB rated weel made with one year warranty and again nationwide service a phone call away.

As a youngster 😆 had to assist a senior engineer at Jimmy Savilles pad
in Bournemouth who was installing one of the `new` fangled contraptions a Grundig VCR and colour tv circa 1972 it was. A couple of years later called to Tony Blackburn`s house. On the edge of Poole Harbour IIRC.

Bangla who pffft ??? Most minor county sides would have put up a better fight than them. Should have been playing the likes of Pakistan or India as warm up for the ashes.

I suppose it lets the Barmy Army get some practice in readiness to slate the Aussies. ( I suspect Alexa will probably have something to say on this topic 😉 ) Which lager Alexa? VB, Thooeys or Red Lion ?

I am surprised that Penguin hasn`t been getting in a flap about Lancs yet. Martin has been quiet about our county Hants who are just one point behind Notts in division one. Come on you Hawks 😀 .

As far as our own season goes arranged 10 cancelled six due to weather won three lost one.

Just about ready to order but noticed a slightly flashier bosch hob. Looks like it has nicer controls. Is it worth spending an extra £80 and going for the PKE645EO1E instead?

Cheers guys. Great site, very useful. I’ve recommended to other people. It’s nice to be able to get some independent advice.

    Hi Mike

Hob has the same technical spec. The PKE645E01E has touch controls, which makes it easier to keep clean and gives a nice flush look. £80 difference? I would say good value for money.

Thanks for the recommendations  . We aim to please 😀

It looks like one of those pathetic little sweepers, but this one is very powerful, and picks up brilliant. I love ’em!

The back up is superb too. I had one back under guarantee with the brush bar noisy. Phoned G.tech was told “replacement brush roll kit needed sir I will send one out today you should recieve tomorrow”. Sure enough it duly arrived and it was fitted in a couple of minutes ready for customer to collect. Job done complete within 24 hours.

    Well done G.Tech

    Hi msa

    All great choices IMO.

Stick with the Bosch for continuity of look and the build is good too.Try the DHU635A 60cm chimney.

Stick with the Neff much better build than the others, better back up and it comes with a full two year guarantee subject to registration. Well worth the wait I would say 😉 .

    Hi

Some of the shelves used to have backs to them and if bottom shelf was fitted back upside down, baskets would not go all the way back.
    Worth a look 😉
