The Candy and Zanussi are the only compact domestic machines available.
That said I have seen the odd smaller machines via caravan and marine outlets, they do come at a price though!!

ModeratorHi
I’m on it iadom 😉
The series four on the dishwasher is still the way to go IMO.
As for the rest of the appliances? Series four will give additional bells and whistles but will not be built any better so will not necessarily last longer.
Bosch website allows you to compare products very easily so you can balance your ” needs and wants” against your budget.

ModeratorHi
Yes it is the relative height of the doors.
If there is an integrated fridge freezer installed already I prefer to research by the model number. I can also find out if it has the fixed or sliding hinge system.
If it’s a brand new kitchen and install you just need to decide the split in order to obtain the correct decor doors.

ModeratorAny Bosch series 4 as these will have the full stainless steel interior.

ModeratorNeff have a few different bells and whistles to Bosch and the controls and are slightly different. No real difference in spec, the same engineer will turn up in the event of a breakdown and you have the same two year guarantee.
Bosch it is?

ModeratorTo get the overall price down look at Bosch as Neff prices are generally higher due to the standing the brand has in the marketplace and the fact that all they produce is integrated appliances .
Hotpoint will give better value for money but the product quality isn’t what it used to be which sadly is the same for all the others out there, Miele included.

ModeratorSurely you need to take this up with the manufacturers rather than venting on these forums which are in the main for appliance help.

ModeratorStock levels are rubbish wherever you look. BSH group are 7 to 10 weeks across the board on 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of models, Whirlpool etc are 4+ weeks on most sectors. As a result the likes of DAD, Swift and Portway among others cannot get stock as it is just not out there. I don’t see it getting much better until October!!

ModeratorHi
Fisher and Paykel appliances are in my top two, the quality is excellent. The only other brand I would consider to be better is the Liebherr range who make stainless steel with handle less doors.

ModeratorTry Googling the part number AXW231-7FH0 Dave gave you 😉
As for parts being obsolete the manufacturers IIRC have a responsibility to carry cosmetic spares up to six years and functional spares up to eight years which is deemed to be the machines estimated life span. Most machines nowadays are replaced within six to seven years so to get ten is exceptional.

ModeratorWhat’s the ENR and FD number please?
This will help us to advise you further.

ModeratorThat model is now coming to an end as it no longer features on the Miele website.
While it’s still a good buy the WWG360 at £50 more comes with a ten year Miele warranty . Could be worth investigating 🙂

ModeratorLooks like you can. Which model number are you looking at as there should be a comparable model without Twindos?
