Re: Hotpoint WF541 module clicking pump and motor stop/start

    Thanks Baron.
Yes it does it on the wash cycle aswell and relays don’t click while filling.
so yes it looks like a motor fault even though my meter says all is ok.
suspect a new machine on its way.

    Thanks

Had one yesterday with the same fault and turned out to be door switch.
A quick spray with some lube and all worked fine.
That was after 40 mins of stripping the rest of the machine down.
Go for door first time next time.

I use a steamer with a piece of pressure switch hose on the end and stick it up from the bottom (does that sound rude).

Fitted a set of brushes to a Hotpoint WM?? and tested and all was perfect.
Got called back within the hour because the machine would not work at all and she said I had made it worse.
Turns out the silly bint does not use the on/off button but turns it off by the spur above the worktop and after I tested it I turned off by the on/off switch.

Re: Miele wt946 inlet/filter light flashing

Yes it has a float switch but that is ok.
I have studied the wire diagram and it looks like 2 of the valve are in series with the aquastop valve so I have ordered a new hose at a bargain price of £127+vat+pp.
    I Hope it works.
    Thanks for the reply Mike.

Re: QUESTION ABOUT MY OWN SMELLY MIELE(10 YEAR WARRANTY ONE)

Crap liquid detergent and low temp washes save the planet but not your machine.
I mixed a bottle of bleach with very hot water in the machine then turned off and left over night.
Then put it on drain and left again for a while, This way it does the drum and drainage.
Don’t try the bleach on a full 95 degree program as it could bubble alot.
i’ve done this a few times with no effect to rubber bits so far.

Re: Yanky Whirlpool s20b fridge freezer defrost fault

Put stat in freezer and then get link between orange and white so this must be signal to module that it’s cold.
blue and brown must be protector as always linked.
    So looks like module fault.
Still be nice to hear from anyone thats had a similar fault as I would like to be sure as modules Are lots of ££££££££.

    Get mine from http://www.able-label.com
I use silver as the clear ones are a bit hard to see on some machines.
Get my cards from vistaprint.co.uk and they look the d-b.

Re: The cheek of the bloke!

I get repeat custom from those stickers all the time and get very good feedback for leaving them.
Cards get thrown in the drawer never to be seen again.
I will always ask if it would be Ok to stick on other appliances which I am not there to fix and have never been refused.
I Never stick them on the front of the appliance but always inside the door and filter flap.
I’ve been to appliances and seen competitors fridge magnets before which look a bit to flash and probably puts the repair charge up.(why did they not call him back ?)
I don’t think it matters what you stick on, they will only call you back if they liked you the first time.

    double cut out is ok.
does that mean the blue stat is the thermistor?
I saw one that looked exactly the same on a beko (merloni) the other day which was a toc.
