Re: Double or single electric oven?

Again, some one is incorrect, you can get a pyro oven that plugs in, you can even get a 90cm wide dual fual range that works on 13amps.

Captain caveman, i think you need to end your advice with “as far as i know” as you are not fully correct in some of your advice.

    Re: Retro Fridges

Ok, gorenje dont make all smegs retro fridges, they use to, they dont now. Whirlpool make some as well now, but both only make the inner cabinet and workings, smeg make the doors and the cladding that go on them. The doors on the smeg are a patented design and are full height, unlike the gorenje. Uf you look at the smeg you will see that the design is far cleaner than the gorenje, that us why the smeg us more money, it is iconic. Put them side by side and the smeg out class’s the gorenje.
Having said that there is nothing wrong with the gorenje. Good quality fridges.

That there be a bra wire! Often found hiding in washing machines up and down the country, and very rarely missed

Re: tumble dryers and energy ratings

Condenser and heat pump dryers tend to have the best energy ratings, all will have sensor dry programmes and different drying levels. Makes to look for Bosch, Siemens, Miele. Vented dryers tend to be the worst energy ratings.

Re: Bosch Neff Half Moon Element Removal

Fitted a new neff B/U dbl oven last week, the old one was a neff also so for a laugh i sprayed wd40 on the shaft, removed the fan then pretended to change the element, reassembled and tested on fan oven setting, what a stink, wouldnt reccomend this method of repair.
I know have a new way of doing it, i wave my screwdriver at the nut and shout abracadabra and the nut and fan fly off ready for heater replacement! No oil, no heat, no bending the shaft!

Re: Inadequate ventilation for Integrated fridge freezer

Theres your answer. Possibly never fixed properly from the outset. It would be easy to add ventilation, when you buy a new fridge the instructions will tell you what ventilation is required and where.

I dont think they do, i think your fridge has been broke since day 1, why didnt you get it fixed 6 years ago?

Re: Inadequate ventilation for Integrated fridge freezer

I think some one is being over dramatic, never seen an integrated fridge catch fire. The worst that could happen is that the fridge would fail prematurely. I think the answer is in the fact that you say it hasnt worked correctly since day one, six years ago!

Liebherr have a new service network in place, please get your facts correct before making statements like this! No need to stress out customers. Phone liebherr on the usual number and they will give you the details of your nearest engineer.
