this is the test cycle for those machines- best of luck getting it to work! I have no luck.

ModeratorRe: Bosch Dishwasher Heat Pump failed prematurely
well this customer has reported that the rinse aid setting adjustment has made no difference to the drying performance despite a “huge cloud of steam” when the door is opened.
I have now fitted another heat pump but this time a 651956 rather than the 755078 so will report back once she has reported the outcome.eastlmark

if your are testing it empty it will spin on dry cycle….. don’t ask me why. Have you a model number? never seen a Lamona version of a smeg. Have you defo had that condenser off and cleaned it? scraped fluff off the concave fan blades? checked the inlet valve when its hot? check also for fluff build up around the ntc on the door seal duct from the heater. I have also changed the toc itself to cure this as a poor connection in that can produce its own heat and trip it out.

According to technical the Care product is the Dishwasher cleaner 00311565.Interesting as the tech docs for that cleaner states it cannot be sold in the USA…. (where of course we all know you can buy a gun over the counter-go figure). If so why do they market the heat pump here and what difference does it make to the heatpump? (given that no one will ever use the cleaner).
Notice that UKW shop list 00755078 for a whole heap of models that BSH list 00651956 as being the correct one… Does anyone have an official “where used list”?
As for my recall, checked out heating fine as far as I can tell and have upped the rinse aid setting and see what happens.eastlmark

a little bit of google translate on the word Care in german is Pflege which if googled regarding dishwashers takes you to a Finish page, so I am guessing the care product is what we call rinse aid. Why it would be banned in some countries I do not know and what difference it would make if used with the 00755078 heat pump I am not sure. I do have a recall tomorrow on one of these with that pump fitted that is reported as not drying. (not E09 though so assume it is heating).
Further reading suggests a lot of negative comments about rinse aid and it being a health risk. (we have all seen what it can do to wiring insulation and lino when leaked upon). I cannot find anywhere that has specifically banned it though.eastlmark

must admit not remembering the job… but just changing the pcb repaired it.

ModeratorRe: leaking bosch dishwasher repair kit
great reply Steve. Look forward to fitting my first one…..
How come there is no mention or parts in the kit for repairing the 3rd side under the air break? Do they not leak from there then?March 22, 2018 at 11:14 am in reply to: questions- answers that make you want to slap people lol #445128eastlmark

Don’t start me on parking permits. residents campaign for residents only street parking yet don’t have the visitors permits when someone needs to visit. A few sited the cost of the visitors scratch cards so I investigated…. a book of 20 cost £2.00! thats 10 pence each.

ModeratorRe: bosch hinges
not customer issue, its soft metal used in the production. The issue is the shoulder the roller rolls over which is what gives it that satisfying thump as the door closes the last bit, it wears rounded so new hinges will cure the fault but from day 1 it will start wearing again.

Could it be the plastic trim/baffle that clips into the sump that I mentioned in the other thread running about heat pumps?I don’t think it can be.
The description isBSH wrote:Heat pump complete, without care product; For countries where the care product is not allowed to be imported or sold
If it was the baffle, why would they not be allowed to import it.
Googling Bosch care product suggests it’s a cleaner which would make a bit more sense with regards to some countries not permitting the import but if this is the case then the one that logically should have the care product, doesn’t.eastlmark wrote:
I have yet to see the item you have mentioned in any of the boxes I have opened lately. The Heat Pump fitted as a replacement on this job included the plastic baffle that clips in front of the pump inlet port inside the sump. When comparing with the original baffle the front lower edge is slightly lower so it reduces the gap by about 1 to 2mm. I would have though this would reduce the water flow and increase the possibility of failure but I guess we have to assume Bosch know what they are doing 😕
not doubting you but did 2 today, no baffle or mention of it in box.

ModeratorRe: Smeg di612a
hinges are pretty basic on those and don’t normally cause issues….
check the door lock itself in the door, sometimes the pin in the roller works loose one end- new lock required if so. also have had swollen door seals causing this issue.eastlmark
