I dont think this will have the impact the manufacturers suggest it will. Talking laundry anyway, most customers still ask us the same question when choosing an appliance “is it easy to use?”
Well madam, once you have connected your dedicated phone line to it and logged on, entered your password, re booted a couple of times then you can do you washing, assuming it doesnt crash during the wash that is.
Loads of knobs, displays and buttons are a turn off to most housewives and I hold up an example of Japan, a country I visit frequently where, despite being somewhat world trendsetters in technology and adapting tecnology 80{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}, of housholds have twin tubbs!
As for internet fridges, LG adverts claim you can download music using it. Now someone tell me why would anyone wanna download music using their fridge!

Not that I am daft enough to sell Servis, but, that 1600 machine to me trade would be £204 +vat for a 1 off. lets see, put say 20{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} profit on that would be a retail price of £290 odd quid. only about £100 more that some herbert could pay in Makro.
Off course, I could buy 150 of the things at £174 each, still £15 more than Makro.

Or better just not to bother

We are not doing any work on this but we did get a letter from GBdar saying their computer had crashed and all payments due will be delayed.

The price from SMEG are as follows:
    bearing 11.31
    Bearing 11.75
    Seal 27.80
    gasket 7.34
these are retail prices and we get 45{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} off this.

Interestingly, the Creda?hotpoint version lists only one dual race bearing at £16.50

I have a contender for the most stupid priced part. Servis cooker fan oven elements £75.97 Trade before vat! (from GB dar that is)

Thanks for that John, yes it is the same as the whirplool (and Creda and Neff and probably loads more too) The parts are surprisingly cheap, as are most Smeg parts I find, and a replacement machine is £700 odd so it looks a though we will have to repair it.

    F2 times out on fill
    F3 times out on drain
F4 motor running to fast, too slow, or, most likely not at all.

    Smeg dishwasher error codes

Here are some Smeg diswasher error codes for fully integrated dishashers with display. (Not the latest type)

E2 over fill detected, more likely though it is not overfilling, just thinks it is.
    E3 not heating
    E4 thermister disconnected or o/c
    E5 no water fill
E6 heating detected with no water present
    E7 not draining
E8 read error, rest and try again
E9 pause in test programme, not a fault code.

    Is that AL 130 or A1130 ?

I have posted some older Hoover codes in the error code section if it is the latter.
