Don’t know about its age but what happened was one of those little switches on the PCB broke off & got stuck behind one of the push-buttons & the customer must have pressed the button again & bust the plastic retaining part! I’ve resoldered the switch back on the PCB I just need the plastic part, seems a bit of an expence buying the whole board, but hey ho thats manufactures for you!
    Cheers anyroad, Chris…

Reminds me of the early Candy machines. They had raw edges like that as well. Their trainer (Mel Barff) used to say the foam around the edges were not there to prevent you cutting yourself, it is there to soak up the blood.

Blimey Alex yhats going back,I remember being in that corse aswell.

I bet you’ll be chucking ’em in 7-8 years time! Door seal for a sloping front Keymatic anyone?

Hi, don’t know about shutting down if pump is blocked unless the thermal cut out has gone on the pump! Might worth just sticking a pump on to try.

Is there the dreaded 5p piece lodged down the outlet hose acting like a valve? I’ve found them b*ggers half way down a pipe sometyimes.

Does the grill/top oven selector switch have a half grill/full grill section on the knob? It has to be on that for the grill to work. Also check to see if someone has had the knobs off & put ’em back the wrong way round, it has happened to me just last week!
