    Re: Rent girl…ever felt had..

I picked up a lucrative arrangement with a top end letting agent three years ago after the guy they were dealing with was caught out being less than truthful.

So be careful out there 😉

BTW I never got felt by a rent girl either 😆

This is a bog basic fan assist oven with mechanical thermostats and the only function of the display pcb is clock and auto cook.

Couldn’t justify the three figure retail cost of the pcb against the purchase price of the oven so I bypassed the pcb and the customer is cooking again.

Had to disable the cavity lamp though which wouldn’t turn off.

Stupid Whirlpool spares prices once again!

PC boards can be repaired AND re programmed for any model regardless of production date and original settings.

    Re: Dishwasher rust hole repair?

This will work but will need some dismantling as you need access to both sides of the hole.

Drill out the hole to the size of a pop rivet and remove any swarf and clean with emery cloth.
Plug the hole with a stainless pop rivet with stainless washers both sides and sandwiched with epoxy putty or Araldite.

I did this to my daughter’s Siemens dishwasher three years ago and it is still holding up.

    Good luck

Re: American Style Fridge Freezer condenser motor wiring

Looking at the refrigerator from the front the air is drawn in through the right hand side of the grille and blown out through the left provided that the rear cover is fitted.
    Hope that helps.

Mine does this occasionally and comes back to life if I give the motorised three way valve a gentle tap.

    Re: What Made You Walk

A few years ago when I was doing a stint in East London I went to a job in Tower Hamlets.

Pulled the washing machine out and what looked like a carpet of cockroaches came running out in all directions like a scene from a George Lucas movie.

    But I didn’t walk.

    I ran!
