ModeratorRe: water and softener valves on Hotpoint latest washing mac
solenoids will be 240v (higher voltage lower current so thinner wires)
3 compartments left.right and centre
valve 1 feeds left compartment but water comes from right rear of the draw and crosses from right to left across a gap
valve 2 feeds right compartment but as above comes from left hand sideto get the centre compartment turn on both valves. the water streams hit each other in the gap forcing it into the centre

just to make things difficult there are 18 models with the same model number .
could be NTC or have you checked heater relay on the board

ModeratorRe: Indesit IWME126
since this seems to be a drain problem
remove filter. get down on the floor and look where the filter came out. you will see a white cross. check nothing is jamming this, 5p’s and hairclips are common

ModeratorRe: Bosch WFL1880Au control board replacement issues
pressure switch part number 600925
valve part number 428210 non gen val33this is the old style of pressure switch so take it off and blow into it a few times in case its stuck while lying idle
if you can get the machine to overfill while watching it try turning off at the plug while its still filling. it should stop the water very quickly if it hesitates or continues to fill change the valve
if you need part listings go here

ModeratorRe: LG Direct Drive Washing machine making heck of a row
open the top of the machine
put your hand in the middle of the drum
push down hard and try to bounce it like a ball
if all is ok then the shocks will stop you. yes the drum will move but it wont be excessive but it should be even if it seems to want to go to one side you may have one shock goneYes its a big strip down but its not a bad job on that machine but you need to strip it first before you buy the parts. after you strip it you need to inspect the drum spider (support) for wear. you need to check where the seal sits to make sure it has no groove and where the bearing fit

ModeratorRe: Bosch WFL1880Au control board replacement issues
there seems to be 7 versions of this machine and they could well use different components
to be certain we need to know the number on the end Enr should be something like
WFL1880AU /01 this last number can make all the difference
as for the valve I have looked up a random model and there is a cheaper non gen valve and it will be as good. get full Enr and look in site shop or email themDave

ModeratorRe: Zan error E41 or E51?
I have stripped the lock a few times. cleaned and reversed the heater disk and it normally works. have made a follow up visit and changed it as if it went pop it would take out the board

ModeratorRe: Using a Whirelpool awg995 washerdryer just as a dryer
dryer should be ok depends on what you are paying for it as you will have no guarantee but its not condenser so will need venting. a lot of creda built dryers (includes Indesit) are on a recall over fire safety at the moment but I don’t think this model is included
you could also look at the white knight C3A dryer. currys have it new for £120 but I have seen them occasionally in Asda for £99. British built in HalifaxDave
