Re: WMA 31 bearings and spider

when the seal is all the way home it does no go flush
the metal lip of the seal housing sticks up about a mm

i can sometimes get the bolts out of the spider using a blowtorch but most of the time a drill is the only way

as for the 30mm units with no spider being available i have to warn the customer it may be scrap as having to convert to 35mm cost too much

    hope this helps

    Re: Panasonic NNA755W microwave fault

because of the high voltages involved it is not a job to be undertaken by untrained person. there can be enough voltage to knock you across the room after the unit is switched off

the job can be undertaken in your own home or at a workshop. we are in merseyside but there will be other technicians around the country who may be able to quote

look in repairs@ to see if anyone else covers you part of the country

    Re: Panasonic NNA755W microwave fault

both of these microwaves will probably say invertor on the front

the electronics inside the machine switches the unit off if the microwave hass not started so your problem is in the invertor section of the machine

this is not a home repair due to 5000 volts at the magnetron. it is likely to cost over £100 to put right but you may find a dealer with secondhand spares

    may have to modify one

cant get at Qualtex website but rangemaster element is as follows

    ele2056

    overall lenth 230mm
    internal diameter 180 mm
plate lenth 70mm and width 21
dont know wattage with website down
    terminals 24 mm apart

dont know your situation but you may be able to drill a hole in the middle if the term will fit back of cooker

will try to look again but as per normal qualtex website is down on a sat. if it is maintenance a bit of warning would be nice

your idea of luke warm and the customers may differ machine may be plumbed to hot water

what i am saying is you need to check heater and if ok check programmer where it connects for bad joints etc. if ok check if heater ever comes on. ie look for the simple things first

    hope this helps

unfortunatly bearing behind seal can be lifted in and out with 1 finger and there is 0.5mm of play so sleeve is damaged.
dont know how this has happened. Did not even know machine had a bearing prob till it started to spin. it was ok on wash and very high spin but made a noise on the way up. its a nice machine works well and is a shame to scrap it but at over £90 for parts its a bit silly. what i need is a scrap machine with other faults and make 1 good one

correct 7 inch rings are designed for a seven inch hole therefore they are only 6.5 inch so element does not toch casing
