To be honest what companies are doing well or should i say companies with large overheads.
Staff will move on, but if they can push more work to their work force without taking anyone on you would.
Having worked for a large repair company you see it happen and you stay with them you moan but not on pay day.

But when you work for yourself your happy for all the work you can lay your hands on and you don’t moan then

I have been with them as a service agent since June I can agree the spares can be quick or very late so they can go from 2 days to 4 weeks.

I had a call to look at a centre glass island unit today and have advised the customer that as it needed 2 people to fit it it would need 2 people to remove it for repair.

So there fitters are coming back to get it down ready for me to work on it.

I am not having that hassle to get it down myself as quoting H&S.

While on a haier course was told to order everything for the hec haus models as it’s easier to make up complete tub prior to visit I beleive the 1200 & 1400 spin machines are alot easier to do as you can take the fronts off but the hec is through the top

Makes sense price of scrap metal now going up so they are off setting it against the rest of the collection services.

Suppose if carboard and paper start going up they would be laughing.

Especially as it goes to china and sent back to us as tin cans and christmas wrapping paper.

Have you tried the microswitches when one latched goes over another latch misses the microswitch thus shutting oven down and any other combi setting.

Easily solved with some nylon washers

I am using there web portal so all invoicing and spare parts are done over the web.
Even down to repair estimates and you get live info on stock levels.

They even tell you when invoices have been accepted or rejected. The rejected ones are returned for you to correct and then reinvoice.

If you tell them in the job notes what job and invoice number they are from you should get paid as that what I do and they pay them the ones I don’t do it too get rejected as soon as i add the extra details they will accept it and settle the next month.

I am not a great fan of the web portol but it atleast the invoices don’t cost anything to post.
