Thank for your reply in your experience Dave what usually are the components that causes failure in both wash and spin would the tryic cause this failure is there a separate wireing harness supplying power into to the board. To control the motor and is there a fuse in the board that protect the motor thanks fasetester

no one have any information what to check on the pcb for no motor on wash or spin is there any components that is known to causing this fault that i can test if nothing looks damaged would i be right in thinking that if there was no power coming in to the board the machine would be dead thanks fasetester

Thanks Dave for your reply if the relay is not switching what is the most likely components on the PCB to have stopped working other that domed capactors to effect both wash and spin .

I have come across Bosch motors with burnt out brushes that have damaged the PCB thanks fasetester

Any one build there own test bench with speed control I know you can buy speed controls what about testing the motor block connector on the PCB what reading should I get and what range should be used thanks fasetester

Re: bosch washing machine brush motor

Thanks for all the replys when bench testing motor without speed control is there any way of controlling the speed of the motor to bed in brushes putting a load in the circuit .

And if I wanted to test pcb on the connections to motor which terminals should I get a reading on on the PCB and what resistance should I get and has any one built a basic speed controller to control motor speed so I can run the motor at a wash speed thanks fasetester

Re: Bosch washing machine new brushes fitted

Thanks for your reply Dave when the new brushes were fitted the
sound OK when motor is turned by hand anticlockwise but when turned clockwise the make a clicking sound.

Dave what is the most likely components to have been damaged on the PCB when the brushes burn out .

Also 3 wires had come away from the motor plug when removing from the motor I traced them to PCB plug the corrspound from right to left at the PCB no 1 2 3 is that the order the are connected at the motor plug thanks fasetester

Re: Bosch washing machine new brushes fitted

Stripped down motor cleaned all carbon dust from inside high insulation reading motor is good so board seem like the problem
Person went for a new machine reading through some post the Bosch machine does not have a great success rate replacing brushes are Bosch machines not meant to be a quality machine.fasetester
