Re: F&P 501 Fault – Spin Light On

As I see a lot of these its more likely to be the lower one display panels cpu faulty i would say less than 0.5{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} not a good bet. Get a motor moudule as you can get a S/H display easy as a lot of those machines are dying

    Re: F & P smartdrive 501 Washing Machine

Do you have a blue or yellow modules
The yellow modules sometimes fail to fire up if the motor resistance is low should be 13 ohms
Blue have a fuse if the fuse is gone replaceing it will only blow the other module they only go if the module has gone look for the tube leak at the end near the a mosfetts
You cannot buy a new blue module for the 501 they are all rebuilt with 1 year or less G/T yellow modules are a kit pot luck new or rebuilt
Check motor pump and bearings before you spend the big bucks

    Right on it P
Check all the time for moisture on the sensor Ther is also a mark 2 sensor 420206p which you should replace the orig one at the same time as your module will last longer

On the blue green yellow and grey modules the water valves stay on as long as you keep the buttons pressed pump you switch on and off with one press
Allways check the resistance of pump motor and inlet valves before replaceing the Motor module double check resistance 16 ohm on the cold inlet valve and look for any rust on solinoid
Check also for any water leaks from the bearings
    This one does sound like a module BUT ONLY if code comes up with the presure tube disconected and 10 sec after you turn it on 99.9{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}

Re: Indesit test plug – has anybody got one ?

There is a forum that if you short the two lower pins it does the test program anyway do a search for the info. I have found the test to be hit or miss unless the machine is working anyway.

have you ever taken the pressure hose off before.
Check the small blue anti kink wire is not down the side wer the hose connects. sometimes the hose can still fold over and kink.
You say it does the rinse ok are you sure it does the deep 2nd rinse ???? OK.

Best pressure hose in whitegoods holes are very unusual(they will change it now :-))

    Re: F&P GW 700 B-U Washing Machine

    Its a sensor problem normally.
Try the contacts on thr rotor Possition sensor. Perhaps a bit dirty
look for any rust marks and leakage on the motor its a sign of bearing problems not so common on the 600 or 700 machines as they used better stuff back then.

    Re: Fuzzy logic

F & P give the motor a preset turn and work out the load size by the acceleratrion and braking of the motor. The new model claims to work out which fabric is in the machine ???. Patent searchs are a good way to figure out whats going on in a machine look at the numbers on the back
