    Re: F&P GW709AU

For future referance on this one when it comes up with a hot valve fault and the cold is open circuit or leaking it normally has taken the motor control board with it Replace the cold valve before replaceing module

    Re: GW709AU assistance needed

Change in water level more likely to be not draining or filling quick enough also drain hose too low you have to think outside the fault code with these litle criters

Try replacing the Lid switch first using a 03 model with a faulty lid switch will blow the module you have been lucky.

Warning F&P modules are at 240 v to earth UNPLUG

Re: Fisher & Paykel GW611 no drive??

your coming up with Fault code 56 lid lock fault and will stop the spin this is a regular fault on the brown modules theres nothing with the lid switch its the module would recomend you get a pro to fit it so you get the correct fault as its only a 99.5 {e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} guess and you get the waranty as well for some reason if you unplug the machine for a day or two this fualt sometimes fixes itself we turn up the fault codes there and the machine works ??????

    Re: water level sensor

You will be very unlucky if the sensor has gone its probally the sensor electronics which means new board the 03 models also lose the sensor software fault code 11 shows up.

Re: Fisher & Paykel Smart drive 501 washing machine

Unplug and mesure resistance from the fuse to the brown wire if its 1to 3 ohms the triacs (BT 136)gone you may have an early machine without the plug on the pump and two wires instead they blow modules as the wires are two close tgether try two get a plug from an old machine if thats the case also check the wire to the pump is not touching the cabinet base and shorting .

You have two read the fault code again not the low and high water level the slow and hold Spin is the correct one

Re: F&P Smartdrive 501 no water fill

Try pressing one off the wash buttons should turn the power on. The power will still turn the power on with lid open or closed it will just not fill
Did you spray the display or motor module first of all with wd40
ADVICE FOR THE REST READING DO NOT SPRAY THE SWITCHS
    I tried that once 🙄

Re: F&P Smartdrive – Does’t Fill on Startup

We are upside down here Chris water goes down the plug the other way as well

Show the display lights as 0 0ff and 1 on
Display lights as seen from Left to Right starting with long wash finishing with spin standing in front of the machine
In diaagnostic mode we only need the slow and hold lights on for the fault code and the Med light on for switch diagnostics 08 09 and 011 models other lights just confuse us
Perhaps we need a sticky on this one

Re: F&P Smartdrive – Does’t Fill on Startup

Your lights are back to front
    Look at the medium lights
    01000 001
the second light on shows a faulty lid switch the last light 7kg size seting

Hold and slow are the fault code no fault showen as it thinks the lid is open

Re: Fisher & Paykel 608 stops at spin cycle

Motor stall is not normally as it says ??
Most comman fault is a short in the motor windings messure the resistance
on the red blue and yellow wires 12 to 13 ohm on eary 01 03 08 models
24 ohm on 09 11 models should all be equel

Re: Fisher & Paykel Smart drive 501 washing machine

Sounds like the fuse went because of a leaking Motor control module display will be ok fault code has been read wrong
Only other reason for the fuse to go is a faulty pump 36 Ohm which blows the triac and leaves the pump live when machine is off (very sore as you cut your arm on the door as well) or short on lid switch harness later models

The 609 and 611 machines valves are 24v 426560 not the same part number around $50 restance is 61 ohm look for rust on base of solinoid
