    Re: God Hates me!!!

Sensor probs are normally a sign of leakage from the tub onto the motor via the bearings. Look for a brown stain visable on the rotor.

For the form you have demonstated why never to work on an F&P pluged in any part of the machine can become live when plugged in and switched OFF??.
Sounds like the module is leaking internaly onto the pump Triac BT136 or onto the connector were the powerboard joins the cpu board in the motor control module (white marks or water in module) check the pump resistance if you decide to replace the module.

You will see on the stator wires chiscrossing each other sometimes you will see two touching. Undo the rotor the 5/8 nut in the middle then you will see the stator the bolts are 3/8 not 10 mm beware of static on the RP Sensor

Have a close look at the stator you may see two of the wires just rubbing and you can seperate them. Then check the resistance again if your lucky was a problem with this model

Mesure the motor resistance between red blue and yellow should all be around 13 ohms get back to us with the results

    Nice one ace

Re: Fisher&Paykel GW611 Washer error codes.

The gw611 uses the later motor with small termimals 24 ohm resistance.Check the resistance and the wires are on ok RYB on motor.
    no corosion on the RPS,
Perhaps get the module tested on a machine before you try to fix it.
Also the 611 tends to detroy the CPU on faults making repair imposible anyway. Also check pump 33 ohms to 36 ohms
It may be time to cut your losses on this one
Good Luck from me as well

501 machines will keep the last fault code untill a new code is stored you must have had a problem at sometime with the pump It was fixed but the fault code remains until a new fault ocurrs.

608 I would go for the Module drain pump will still let the machine turn on again not a comman fault but I have seen it
Later models Drain pump resitance less than 32 ohms replace It asap

Re: Fisher&Paykel GW611 Washer error codes.

The newer F&Ps have no base so if your machine is over or near the floor drain soap subs will enter the base of the machine causeing corrosion on the stator Fault codes wont help on this one.
The module will blow before it can damage the motor.
Agree with k on the F&P repair I tried to fix a module for a customer once when I found out the problem was firmware she said I didnt know what I was doing and would get someone who did. Thanks a lot.
She had to buy a module in the end from a friend of mine
😉 He told me all the names she was calling me he put her straight.
Im much worse than that. 😈

its also worth while to check the drum position as per the book
Opening the lid should stop the drum it may be your lid sensor is playing up replace before you blow the board
240V on the sensor unplug the machine

    Re: cold water problems

Make sure the power plug is out. The cold inlet is conected to the cold hose.
dont worry about the filter you would see the dirt.
Make sure you take the seal off and fit it to the new valve
It may pay to get a service person in for the job to save the hassle
