    Re: A philosophical viewpoint

samsung have big ambitions this year,
bringing out washingmachines built to high spec trying to compete with other premium wms @ the £400-500 price range
sheds have requested a low cost high volume wm as part of the deal
,if they supply a low cost wm which looks like their premuim wm then the sheds will allow them to position their premium wm in a good spot ??.

a prime example of 1 manufacturer trying to offfer high spec appliances , but bowing to the market forces of the sheds/public.

totally agree with martin, we do make a living of these cheap low end appliances, i do take a lot of pleasure telling customers in a round about fashion that their is nothing that can be done to make their cheap peice of piss work any better. (oh and get paid for it)

JTM seem to be handling haier after sales..

    Re: A philosophical viewpoint

engineers tend to mention something about the quaility when the customer has called them out because their matsui dishwasher doesnt clean as good as there last zanussi one, or there servis wm takes twice as long as their old hotpoint.

we normaly advise them that their new app is working to manu spec, and theres nothing that can be done to make it work any better or quicker,

go back to the retailer if it hasnt matched there expectations..( this normaly makes them go away for a while)

we make a good living of these sub quaility app,s so i for one dont slag them ..ehh well not that much unless i get a arsey customer with big house flash car etc and a 7kilo servis in the utilty room..

    could only be 2 things

    1st cheap option door switch

    2nd module,
cant think of any other component on this f/f that would cause this..

    hope this helps ..

look in sump area about the 12 oclock position, if their is a rubber flap valve take it of and throw it away…as grease sticks valve,
if no flap valve there should just be a hole about the size of 5p…its more then likley that grease/crap has went into hole and gundged it up.
best way to clean ..use hand help steamer..

    E3 NO HEAT,
probaly the little brass toc situated at back corner, about 2 quid from connect. if its the one without the toc then its the pcb..
