ParticipantRe: Electrolux
sounds very frustrating for you just now i know the commercial guys do a lot of travel
the sad thing about this is there doesn’t seem to be anyone above these monkeys who can see what there doing
he will undoubtedly move higher will glowing recommendations re how he transformed the service network
they all operate like this just as long as they have the manipulated KPIs to prove there point .
i would look for something else to do if i was you if you can

ParticipantRe: Electrolux
sad really as service departments could be ran a lot better with the correct staff in place

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint Tool Case 19
when you think about it apart from cordless screwdriver and mega etc
90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of jobs you use
star head , flat , long nose , snips , maybe mole grips ,
7,8,10 ,12,13 mm socketcan all probably fit everything you need in your side pocket
of course bearing tubs etc different story
as we do edinburgh city center try to travel light – can be a total bumer if you forget something and have to go down 4 flights to get to van
i normaly fit all my tools into alpha tech mega carry case
job done —
were kinda like golfers humfing around 12 clubs all day – but probs only use about 4

ParticipantRe: Whirlpool to do a recall on Hotpoint dryers
i would say the only realistic way to stop the build up of fluff on heater assy – would be do carry out yearly maintenance or every 6 months for heavy use dryers
it doesnt matter how good the mod is there will always be air born dust/fluff that will settle on heater and the only way tp remove it is physically

ParticipantRe: Whirlpool to do a recall on Hotpoint dryers
could be the reason they are offering heat pump dryers to recall customers for £99.00 instead of recall .
imo yes the potential for any dryer to go on fire is high —
fluff — heat — fans —
hotpoint indesit condnsers also choke up in the pump well – causing water /fluff to back fill onto fan – which inturn forces water/fluff right onto heater unit — after a while you have nice little build up of dried fluff on the heater .

ParticipantRe: SAMSUNG – MARTIN DAWES
no probs ken
admin is out if control the data they want back is ridiculous — almost to the point that the customer and the agent is not relevant
all they seem to want is data so the can manipulate it into a nice pie chart to say look how good they are compared to xyz company
call center with language barriers – cario – now the Philippines
who constantly call asking for the same data that you have already updatedsomeone trying to do this own there own must be working 18 hours a day ,
big company’s like martin dawes etc can soak up admin – but at some point when all there doing is paying office staff to deal with the samsung data monster they will more than likely part .

ParticipantRe: SAMSUNG – MARTIN DAWES
my sources say — offered 24-25 k plus bonuss – full time work direct to martin dawes/co
take it or leave it
oh and can you work on browns goods
nationwide take over no ?
take over certain areas / white/brown service centre — something samsung have been pushing for a while -???

ParticipantRe: SAMSUNG – MARTIN DAWES
hi bryan
maybe they will maybe their looking to take over smaller areas etc – where samsung only have 1 man bands etc where the admin is nit quick enough for the samsung data monsters
i know its defo happening in a certain area – maybe a test case
who knows — who cares lol
worth keeping an eye on if your a samsung agent

ParticipantRe: Fixed price repairs
i suspect for the big players theirs a tax write in there somewhere
as it cant be economical for them shelling out on high end built ins etc ,
i suppose the small jobs like block pumps etc are the money spinners –
but like martin points out customers get free estimate 1st and then get the fixed price quote .
so there must be profit or tax write of somewhere for these big cos
