    Re: Samsung RS20CCMS freezer frost

common fault on the rs 20, seemingly there is no cure,
its to do with moisture coming back from the fridge, this then gathers on the freezer evap, and bingo…
you could try a thermal fuse, and sensor though..
    thermal fuse samda47-00095e
    sensor samda32-00006b both under £10

this one will most likely come back on you, so i would avise customer that repair might not solve prob,

you cpuld try taking clutch shoes of and putting some hacksaw cuts on them…like you would do with break shoes.
they are at the bottom of the spin unit..
this will help it spin better…

    Re: GB DAR

we do work for gbdar, and dont get many problems,
yes you only get half fee for exchaged appliance,
up side is most of the work is either a faulty door switch or a faulty module…oh and the occasional tub job, most tubs are through coin damage,
dont forget gbdar also do samsung, £35.00 per call even if app excahnged… samsung wms, 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of calls are faulty pumps..10 minute job..£35.00…
samsung f/f…90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of calls ..1 part in fridge half hour job…
if you get the call volume and your overheads arent to big you will make money…
we paid a visit to gbdar recently to see their set up and just to meet the people we talk to on the phone, my opionion was a good bunch of hard working people who will help you any way they can…
gb-dar have their faults as do other work provides but the do try to work with their agents,

my advice is to go and see them before you make any judgements…
ps they pay on the nail every month..

Re: Any good software for Jobs

    i use lotus approach database…

you can basicaly do any thing you want with it…
ie create feilds that you want , you can add to it at a later date,
and you can search any field or info you want….
you can also create as many worksheets, and forms as you like…
work sheets lets you see all your customers in a linear form…
you can then pick out a particular customer and change the view to a invoice, parts order or any form you like…

very easy to set up…and just as easy to add to it as you req..
