normally you would just keep start button pressed in for 5-10 seconds to clear memory/resett?

    Re: DO YOU TELL THEM

the point i was trying to get across is

i am completely astounded by people who buy washing machines for under £200, and think they have bought a rollsroyce..and complain about it breaking after only 6 months…
and when you call to give them a rough idea of time your are likely to call they want you to give them the precise minute of when your going to arrive..
they want top dollar after-sales… again what did they think they were buying for under £200…???

    Re: Samsung RS21DCNS Icemaker flap

done a lot of samsung work, not had any probs with ice maker flap..
infact you wont get to much trouble from these appliances
main prob …twin cooling panel in fridge goes faulty…
causing high temp in fridge, noise in fridge, and not water to dispensor..
easy to fix…in and out 20-40 mins..

    good money if chargable…

    Re: Hotpoint CTD00P

the way i usually fit belt is….

remove lid,and both side panels,2 screws that hold water bottle holder ,split pin @ shaft,
take heater out of way by removing plug situated next to capacitor, remove rear fan..
take out 2 screws next to mains terminal..this will now allow you to pull back panel back enough to slip belt over drum..
now refit rear panel ,split pin, and right side panel…
@ left side remove inner fan housing (just pops of) remove inner fan.
loosen pulley assy..take nearest bolt right off , slip belt over motor shaft and align… adjust pulley as req..
refit inner fan etc, job done…
tried a few other ways, but this is the fastest…about 30 mins 1st one…
