finally got part and fitted it
job done.
this part fits where the old type vacuum level switch fits in the sump.not exactly sure how it controls the water level as it is solid plastic but has lenses, but it also acts as the ntc as it has a probe for temp.March 11, 2012 at 8:46 pm in reply to: Miele W970 Washing Machine – check inlet warning problem #369596Galway

the piece you are trying to identify sounds like the element holder/guide.Galway
ParticipantRe: zanussi zdc37200w
there is usually a stat in the front also.not sure of this m/c but open the door and head in and look up usually on front of m/c
or if you are unlucky you may have to dismantle the front.Galway
ParticipantRe: Prima lpr600/1 error code 6
if this is a “whirlpool in a dress” dishwasher this fault could also indicate a flow meter fault .if water starts to enter machine and then it stops and fault appears then check the flow meter t may have moved slightly.

hi Hilary,
not familiar with this exact machine but this could be a number of things
1/blocked pump/filter
2/condensor solenoid
3/timer/module/broken wire
if clothes are hot and wet i would think that the dryer element is ok .the machine sounds like it is not draining the water while trying to dry.?
good luck
