has it got an antiflood float like dishwashers have? most lgs have moulded plastic bases, so wouldnt be surprised if it wasnt a leak

martin all samsung models are serial tracked as they are anal about who resells what. Lg dont like it either and i believe they are the same. I cant say for sure about beko as bekos left hand dont seem to know what their right arms doing half the time, but as they do the same thing of selective distribution of models that smasung and lg do i wouldnt be surprised. Dyson do the same too.

    Re: Bosch sgs45e02gb/45 pumping continuously-not a leak

    cheers guys,

firstly electrodave – i thought the same thing, but it meters out fine, plus when I activate it manually it kills the fill too. aqua steve I did not know the pump was triac controlled, although I do always check every resistor, triac and cap for damage before sending to emw for a relay repair. I did give a very cautious inspection of the pcb before sending it off, no triac looked chipped, although one was more “matt” than all the others, but it wasnt blown. and alan, going to pop round tomorrow with a jug impellor to verify that isnt the culprit, its an outside shot that its telling the pcb that its permanenlty overfilled but im not convinced. I can quite believe the pump triac is faulty, just not visually, or i guess the eeprom could have been corrupted?

    Re: Trade pricing

You are gonna get this, I have this issue too, where what you want to sell is being flogged elsewhere for next to nothing. All you can do is sell something that you can sell for a profit.

In cases such as yours I drop price as low as I possibly can to seem as competitive as possible, then list all the reasons why that model isnt suitable for that customers needs, and convince them they would be better off with a bosch or lg that I can make a bit more of a reasonable margin on.

You also want to be careful with using other retailers that purchase direct from manufacturers as a supplier. A lot of machines are now serial tracked, bit embarrassing if customer rings up the manufacturer and they refuse to warranty it because its been resold by you and they are technically the “second user/owner”.

Re: Alternative for aeg 5212bu main oven stat

cheers don Ill give them a try, I came across several sites (apart from ES) supposedly having stock and not one of them actually had, even though a couple were advertised clearly as “in stock” and “low stock”. I did find a catering company listing the part which seemed hopeful as obv’s it could have been used in commercial kit too, but they dont hold stock, merely source it, presumably from EGO at a daft price!

    Re: Indesit washing machine explodes

closest Ive had to an exploder is a hoover that snapped its motor mounts off, and a hotpoint with a massive crack across the back from the bearing mount outwards. neither of which have anything to do with the welded seams.

The oob/speed transition sounds far more likely especially as hoover actually had a batch of 9kg models (argos exclusives iirc) that used to ramp up to full spin way too fast (in like 3 steps) and needed a pcb replacement where they flashed revised software onto them.

So turns out the 1403 had blown the triac with the heatsink right next to the superbig power cap. Turs out this machines had lg out twice to tighten morotor rotor. Had quick check of rotor and it is gentilly agitating all over place. Does anyone know if the rotor has caused these

Check lhs heat xchanger for overfill dribbles and upper spray arm feed external tubing for leaks
