this is assuming they dont first crash, and then burn, like the immoral souls that they are. A/ surely you can only make 400mil if you can convince someone that what you have is 400mil? B/ if one of your russian backers decides actually he wants his investment back sooner, because your profit projections havent actually materialised, then there is still time mr dill. still time, for the whole shebang to implode… which, if it wasnt for AO being *retail* £63 cheaper than my trade price on a neff oven today, id feel a smidge of sadness for.
The quicker DRL’s business model fails, the better, for everyone involved – inc JL and currys… then we indies might get some decent priced graded stock back that allows us to compete too…

apart from the bin or a much delayed bsh “upgrade” i cant see theres any point in continiuing. spoke to bosch about this today weirdly enough and their response is customer opinion suggests hot washes are used sparingly, at most once a week, as their customer feedback is their customers use the fast wash all the time unless food is noticeably baked on. reminds me of beko’s “we can offer guarantees on -15*c refrigeration because it probably wont drop below 0*c in britain very often…

hot on the back of my last post…
cust: i have a 55cm cooker and struggling to find any reasonably priced replacements.
me: ok as far as i know theres only stoves/belling/nw or zanussi
cust: yeh ive been quoted 600 by my local indie for a zanussi. dont really wanna pay that much…
me – takes details and rings round. gets prices and avails…
cust: how much thats 150 quid more than currys…
turns out currys are offering the nw 55 dbl gas oven for £402 with free del direct from manf.Thank you gdha again for killing off another sale. gdha are fast making me think their management are PR!CKS. At least i wont have to lie when im asked about my own opinion on their own quality, especially when my nans ovens t/stat failed after 2.5 years, and we have had countless other fsd issues with our customers on their kit within the first 4 years…

Cheap hob, poor quality control, just great :rolls:
Donyou got 5 screws? i only got the 3. STILL waiting for 2 of the lil’ grubs from gloustershire to turn up. would have been quicker to machine my own :rolls: so looks like my hob must have been one of the second batch made, where costcutting was the first priority 😡

Going back to trade prices meaning anything…
Sold a gas stoves 60cm dbl oven to a cust omer 12 years ago, its gone wrong, wanted prices for a repair, quoted him £85 + vat + parts, seemed ok about that but also mentioned be worth seeing if stoves would do a fixed rate repair for £170 inc vat as the grill t/stat&tap would otherwise set him back almost £90 on its own.
So he calls stoves. What do stoves do? say yes we can come out and repair it for £170ish but we can also sell you a new stoves 60cm dbl oven cooker for £371 inc vat as your old cooker is registered on our system, so we know your a loyal customer.
EXCUSE ME? EXCUSE ME STOVES? Im trying to look after OUR loyal customer and all you can think of is stabbing an independant in the back. I took a quick look at my stoves trade prices. the cheapest I can get any 60cm stoves gas cooker for, and this is twin cav, not dbl oven, is £328+vat. Cheapest Dbl is £364+vat. So ok, maybe it could be deemed fair enough that if your gonna stab me in the back you at least do it by offering a decent price for your products. but dont bloody undercut me BY THAT EXTENT!
Now seriously considering ditching GDHA for gas stuff as the quality of the FSD componentry was below average anyway, but this is just a massive kick in the nootz now.

So unless ive read this wrong your saying a single 6mm core from std cooker T&E will serve as a suitable bridge. In theory this sounds fine but the aperture on the terminal block is tiny (certainly doesnt appear large enough to support 2x 6mm core connections), and as previously stated, there are no screws anyway in L2 and N1 to secure one end of a bridge!I spoke to gillmans on sat last week who told me they would send some screws out within the next few days, but yet to see anything 🙁
Im fast losing faith in this MontP kit if they cant even wire it up right… especially when the customer is virtually demanding a refund so she can go elsewhere :/
Just out of interest, is there any possible issue with moving the hob-side L2 wires to sit in the L1 terminal, and likewise with the hob-side N1 wires to sit in the N2 terminal, so i dont have to use a bridge? Its been so long since ive seen this hob i cant quite remember the details!

Hi Dill, sorry, weather has meant we have been back without electrickery again, so this convinced him to get it from JL in the end becuase our phones were out. but a trade to trade alliance would be useful for the future if that is ok with you ?

hi seamy again 🙂
i happened to have a relay from a previous repair so tried that amd it kicked in straight away thought great and then this morning got a call that its cut out again and wont come back on. fridge is warm so obv hasnt started back up again. initially thought it might have been the start cap but that seems to check out on another fridge. but still unsure whether its possible its not discharging enough?
no defrost timer, just a pcb potentiometer for the temp setting and pcb at rear presumably for frostfree control. try that i spose
