I Refused Point Blank to Order That Part For her Told Only Genuine I Use With Guarantees I Gave Her A Rollicking For Wasting My Time And Effort

She has Just Phoned me Back And Apologised And Said That hotpoint Are Offering A Fix For Over A £100.00 Inc Genune Parts.

But She May Have to Take A day or A half One Off To Be in. And Lose £70.00 SO It Could Cost Her Between £135.00 Or A Full Days Pay At A Total Of £170.00 Inc Parts Labor And A Day Off.

The Jobs Back On With The Recommended Retail Price :)Plus Labour 😉

he Bought A Belt For His Creda Dryer From SomeoneElse Its A Qualtex Own Brand he Paid £23.00.

he Phoned me Up To Fit It Give Him A Price Of £50.00 he Accepted I Called At His House Opened The Dryer Up It Was Chockablock With Lint.

Showed Him The Lint Told Him That It Was A Fire Hazard And I Cant Fit The Belt As it is I have A Duty to Clean it he Asked How Much Its. Told Him IL Put A new V4 Bearing Kit In it And Clean It Spotless For A Mere £65.00 Its A Good Couple Of Hours to Put This back in Good Working Order And IL Give A Warranty On The bearing For 3 Months.

Striped It Back In The Workshop had A Phone Call The Next Day he has Been Given One from His Mum In Law That he Didn’t Want To Go Ahead.

I Replied There Would Be A Minimum Charge Of £25.00 He Told me To Keep The Belt |Its Worth £23.00 I Went red :x.
The Dryer |Is A Write Off The Front Has Gone I was Unable to Fit The Front bearing pads.

This Guy Lives in A Posh House And has Plenty Of ££££.
myself I Work Blinking Hard For A Living And Anyone That Does not Pay me I Regard It As Theft.
Il Have No Problem Dumping The Dryer Outside His House In His Posh Estate And Taking Him To A Small Claims Court It Will Be Worth The £30.00 Charges And He Will Have To Pay In The End. 🙂

I gave around 8 quotes all under £50 last week and they never returned to me for repair, so either some cowboy is in the area or people are buy replacements.

Competitors are starting to lower their prices, a few have come down too my callout charge and they seem to have increased there advertising presence.
