Sorry this motor does not have carbons.
If the unit is filling and them emptying it is more than likely the motor its self (board on motor faulty) another clue is the fact that the door is locked but the door locked symbol on display is not lit on display. would need to go into service mode to try and confirm.
Also check you have right module for the machine.Motor part number 2828010500
module part number 2431702082regards

Hi
Did you happen to check water inlet valves to ensure one was not open circuit. It uses one valve to carry out initial fill, pauses and continues to fill using other valve to take in soap powder. If this valve is open circuit it will just sit there doing nothing.
Good indicator would be if the powder was still in draw when it stopped.HTH

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint HV7L130 washing machine won’t fill / pump repai
Hi
Had one a couple of years ago that refused to fill after clearing pump. Spoke to Hotpoint and they advised to start it off on wash program and leave it as it could take up to 1 hour to start filling. I did this with mine and returned after about 40mins to find the water level approaching soap draw. switched off, drained machine and it worked ok from then. may be worth a try.

ParticipantRe: Is my card reader faulty
Hi
Thanks for coming back to me. I checked box for card reader and it is an 8KB plus 32KB version. Hoping it would be only 8KB which would have answered the problem. Tried Hotpoint technical this morning but could not help much as the do not use card reader. Did say that they did have some issues programming some boards and did not know if it was a firmware problem or not. Also checked on pathfinder and although part number has changed the description remains the same. On Connect site both the original and new part numbers are the same item.
Confused now 😕Geoff

ParticipantRe: Beko WM95145LW stuck on 20 mins.
Hi
Have send you some information on unit.
Had 2 similar which gave fault code of F13 in service mode.
these turned out to be motors.
Have had issues with modules but mainly tend to go dead.
Check voltages out to motor from module if you can.

ParticipantRe: Belling (stoves) cooker 444449575 FSE 60MF – energy reg
Hi
Belling list 2 regulators for this which are
082590800 single regulator
082590900 which I think is the dual regulator.
Both of these are Invensys regulators which glen dimplex cookers tend to use and they normally have the part number printed on them.
The first one is by far the most popular but normally the fault with these is that they fail to regulate and only work at full power.
