Hi
I took the upper panel to another machine that I was putting bearings in and it worked ok with that one. Sent module back to EMW and they sent me a completly different one which has worked no problem. I also retighted all the connections on the module as well.
Hope you manage to sort yoursGeoff

Best to try AWS on 01603 412324
when you phone have full model number apm6855 or apm6855/01, serial number and date of purchase if possible as there are two versions.

Hi
If you send me your email address I will send you some bed time reading for this machine.
When the machine has filled do you hear a loud clunk which is the contactor engaging to supply the boiler tank heaters? Is the pressure chamber clear and switch activating?
Have you been able to check the resistance of the boiler tank elements as well as the wash tank element?Just some possibilities

Hi
Bosch only list door assy on 704286 or the catch on 623234
This looks like it could be a bit expensive for a handle

I Checked the plug at the time and all is ok but it does not rule out the door lock itself.Other than that I back to the upper module 😕

Hi
Yes it heats up ok on quick wash and no problems on insulation test.
It is at the point where it empties to start to fill for the hot wash that it all goes wrong.
Both motors just sit there in turn switching on and off and no water goes ingeoff

Well been back to day with another module and it is no different. tried new motor with no luck. checked wiring between motor. upper module, heater and pump.
Door will lock and will start programme. there is live to valves, motor and pump but no neutral which is controlled by the module.
Has anyone had this before or got any ideas as I have run out

ParticipantRe: Dead WMA11!
hi
I had a similar problem a few years back and what I found was that I had reversed 2 wires on module ( they sit in a little block next to the selector unit) One wire goes to the pressure switch and if reveresed will stop power going to module once water level is up.Looking down on module the brown/green wire to pressure switch is on left and the red/green that goes to heater is on right
Also check valves are okGeoff
