That was the number Goatboy senior bought me.

The serial/product number had rubbed off 🙁

    Re: Funny Customer Names !

Slightly OT, there was a local school headmaster called Wright Platt, and a recently retired dentist called Perkins Pong, I kid you not. 😆

I knew a girl call Cystal, that married Peter Ball, Probably just for a laugh.

Then there was Mr + Mrs Pie, that called their kid Cherry, probably just for a laugh.

Re: How much to charge for parts?

    My simple and quick method…

Take the cost price without the VAT, and double it!

This will cover the VAT, admin, and leave you with a nice profit. Remember, we’re not charities!

Unless the part is mega expensive; then just make whatever you want on it.

kladave wrote:ok then we spend well into 4 figures per month with electrue yet our price is wait for it 😆 pmp952 £5.99 and £3.75 for x5 😯

    £4.75 and £3.75 for x5

We spend about £100 a week, with our 1 weekly order!

I can’t get over the anti electrue stance by some members on this site.we have no probs with their pricing structure you just need to commit yourselves with them and speak to the right person, after all their stockholding is second to none

You really do need to speak (flirt) with the right person. If you want your parts in-stock, and delivered in one piece, then it’s electrue. If you don’t like the returns policy, don’t order the wrong parts!

I think it’s a little funny that we argue about the lack of money in this trade. We want more money for the professional job that we do, but the suppliers have to work at rock-bottom levels?

I don’t see how the washing machine is doing that 😕

And if I was in his shoes, I’d ring a plumber. But, if I was in his shoes, I wouldn’t have bought an Indesit 😉

The only number we have got is that…

    1181064 🙁

That part number was in the instructions. Stoves reconise it, but nobody else seems to 😕

Indeed! Not that I’m generalising… but everyone around there is completely nuts, detached from reality, and is a drug dealer/user. 😕

I’ll stay this side of Burnley, thank you, where the normal people live.
