Fill a jar half full with water, then pour in some dockers. 10 should do!
Seal the top, shake well, then leave it to fester for a few days, then keep it close by.
When you’ve got the cravings, tell yourself the five good points of being a non-smoker…
1. Vastly improved health
2. Vastly improved personal hygeine
3. More money*
4. Better sex-life
5. Better tasting foodIf that fails, open the jar, and have a big stiff!
Oh yeah, and don’t attend any UKW meetings 😉
* Another good technique is to save the money you would normally spend on ciggies, and buy something nice with it (lager).

ParticipantRe: Another joke.
This is an actual job application that a 17-year-old boy submitted at a McDonald’s restaurant in Florida; and they hired him because he was so honest and funny!
NAME: Greg Bulmash.
SEX: Not yet. Still waiting for the right person.
DESIRED POSITION: Company’s President or Vice President. But seriously, whatever’s available. If I was in a position to be picky, I wouldn’t be applying here in the first place.
DESIRED SALARY: $185,000 a year plus stock options and a Michael Ovitz style severance package. If that’s not possible, make an offer and we can haggle.
EDUCATION: Yes.
LAST POSITION HELD: Target for middle management hostility.
SALARY: Less than I’m worth.
MOST NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENT: My incredible collection of stolen pens and ‘post-it’ notes.
REASON FOR LEAVING: It sucked.
AVAILABLE FOR WORK: Of course. That’s why I’m applying.
PREFERRED HOURS: 1:30 – 3:30pm., Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
DO YOU HAVE ANY SPECIAL SKILLS?: Yes, but they’re better suited to a more intimate environment.
MAY WE CONTACT YOUR CURRENT EMPLOYER?: If I had one, would I be here?
DO YOU HAVE ANY PHYSICAL CONDITIONS THAT WOULD PROHIBIT YOU FROM LIFTING UPTO 50lbs?: 50lbs. of what?
DO YOU HAVE A CAR?: I think the appropriate question here would be “Do you have a car that runs?”
HAVE YOU RECEIVED ANY SPECIAL AWARDS OR RECOGNITION?: I may already be the winner of the Publishers Clearinghouse Sweepstakes.
DO YOU SMOKE?: On the job, no, on my breaks, yes.
WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE DOING IN FIVE YEARS?: Living in the Bahamas with a fabulously wealthy dumb blond supermodel who thinks I’m the greatest thing since sliced bread. Actually, I’d like to be doing that now.
DO YOU CERTIFY THAT THE ABOVE IS TRUE AND COMPLETE TO THE BEST OF YOUR KNOWLEDGE?: Yes. Absolutely.
SIGN HERE: Aries.

ParticipantRe: web site
I use frontpage! 😀 Just this morning actually (but still aint finished the products page)
It’s a little spoony sometimes though, especially if your making tables.
We got a few meg of webspace free off BT with the business boardband, and then we bought a domain name, and linked it. You got to pay extra if you want extensions.
I’m trying my best to get onto search engines, but I’m failing 🙁 But people manage to find the site somehow.
If you type ‘website template’ into google, millions come up!

ParticipantRe: Condenser Tumble Dryers
Speaking of over-priced condenser dryers…
Check out the Siemens WT46E386. It’s gorgeous, and more reliable than the Bosch IMO.
But the best thing, is not to get a condenser and stick to the vented. But if there’s nowhere for a vent…

ParticipantRe: Miele WT2670 – Good choice ???
Sorry about the outburst Ian, I get very grumpy in the morning. 😕
Glad to hear that you are sorted! 🙂
Ps. The general rule with Kelkoo, is that the people selling it the cheapest, don’t have the stock, but can offer an alternative. And £600 off me, includes installation and disposal of the old machine, and I have them in stock; but as you can see, i need to work on my customer service.

oldfield_ian wrote:…or is this forum your shop window?
Just trying to offer a viable alternative to the overpriced Miele. The Siemens is a fantastic machine. ‘A’ rated wash, 1200 spin, 2 year guarantee, LED display, and a time remaining display.
If you don’t like getting FREE advice then you should stick that Miele…
You wanna know how much money I’ve made from this forum? Same as everyone else, NOTHING! We’re just giving free advice. Most people would take that model number I gave you, and do something usefull with it, but you just insult me!?!?!?!?! Typical Merc driver!
Would you like a pound of flesh too?
(Edited, because Goatboy is a pillock!)

Thinking about it, if I had an Ariston, I’d do this to it…

Nowhere sorry, they’re for engineers init? 😉
8 flashes is a relay problem, but usually means a new PCB 🙁
Ariston have a 5 year parts guarantee if you want to pay £90 call out 😯 but I’d try Repairs@ for a local engineer.
If your gonna investigate further, power off first please!

Ahem! 😀
Siemens WXD1260
Goatboy will do you one for £600ish 😉
If Miele = Merc
Then Siemens = Bentley, or maybe Volvo 😕
