This week has been particularly quiet. Thanks god for the estate agents work. I’ve been mad busy up until this week. One of the best starts to a year that I can remember. Lets hope after the bank holiday weekend it gets back to normal and it was just a blip.

Just out of interest, how do you read the fault codes on these versions without the lcd. Also is there a list of codes for these or are they still the same as the older one.

Doesn’t this machine have a top oven door switch. Right hand side. I’ve had a few of these micro switches burn out.

Got to be honest and say, your a better man than me. I would have taken one look at this and walked away. God knows what underlying faults may be caused by this fool before you even fix the original fault and then your at fault by association. Its people like this that often don’t want to spend much on the machine anyway!!

Thanks for all your replies. Typical, its a special order at all the wholesalers. Only available it BSH where i’m trying to set up a new trade account for another part i’m having problems with. Just my luck today.
I’ve never had to code a BSH module as of yet. Didn’t know any of the older ones needed it, apart from setting up the programme positions.Re: adp1520 Diplomat Hob Regulator
Cheers for that Dave. They told me it was separate switches but they did sound a bit confused. I’ll have to give the a call and find out tomorrow. Just had a look and the pcb isn’t available. May take a look at the relay.

I got a call out of the blue from them last month asking why I don’t use them anymore. I told him because they hardly list anything or stock anything and they’re prices weren’t really that competitive when they did have them.

Re: Do you itemise your charges if VAT registered?
I’ve always listed everything separate on my invoices, Parts, labour, VAT and Total. I’ve always had my invoices printed this way.
I always price the job at the customers the same way explaining all the charges verbally. Somehow it makes me feel a little better telling them that i’m not getting all the money.
