ParticipantRe: Britannia Range SI-9TF-GRA-BR Hinge
Thanks anyway Ken, appreciate your help. I’ve taken a punt on the ukwhitegoods one. Its half the price of the same one on connect and its the 60cm one. Worth a go and if its not the correct one at least i’ll have had a look at what i need and not wasted too much on it.
Cheers

Cheers for that Ken. Its going to be pretty hard to go and see it first. Its a 40 mile round trip, but if I need to, I need to. All I know is that it is the main oven door. The customer did give me all the numbers from the rating plate. 01380767 – JPD90NMP.
Thanks again

Cheers for that Ken and Dave. It looks as though its not available anywhere. Just done a search with the part number. Never mind they’ll just have to have hinges and hope for the best.
Thanks again

Yes eBay have them like I say and also the element man has them even cheaper. Just amazing that none of the wholesalers have them!!!

ParticipantRe: Card payments
I use Worldpay Zinc. Its a great little device that connects to your mobile. Ive been with them about a year now with no hitches. I don’t know what the deal is now to buy the handheld reader but I think it cost me about £40. Transactions cost 2.75{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} and I can take manual payments over the phone via their website. The money is in my account usually within a couple of days. I would highly recommend them.
If anybody wants any more info just let me know. There may be a recommendation incentive available as well if I remember rightly.grooster
ParticipantRe: Qualtex spares box size
Yep, same here, I seem to spend half my life popping the bubble wrap to fit it all in the bin. They must just use the nearest box to them when they’re packing, regardless of the order.

ParticipantRe: Trade Spares Suppliers poor service
Do BSH still do trade accounts. I used to have one years ago but I seem to think they stopped it for some reason and I’ve been left to fend for myself with the above offenders.

ParticipantRe: Is it just me or is anyone else quiet?
This business is amazing. I was absolutely dead this morning, thinking is this the end and now I can’t fit another job in until Thursday. This afternoon went mad. I just wish I knew what caused it to go quiet all of a sudden and then change. There is just no routine anymore.

You just can’t work it out can you. The phone never rang all morning until about 10 minutes ago when we received 4 calls one after another. This job never fails to surprise me. Non of them sound decent to be honest but at least its ringing.
But it still hasn’t been this quiet on a Monday morning for a very long time!!!grooster
ParticipantRe: Is it just me or is anyone else quiet?
I was just interested in seeing how busy we all are at the moment. Its good to get a guage on how the demographic is across the country.
I’m quiet at the moment, it started last week after having a good Aug/Sep, but last week and this week are worryingly quiet again. Monday is usually the busiest day but nothing so far.
Its one of those days where you check the phone line to see if its working.grooster
ParticipantRe: Electrolux washer dryer dead EWX14450W
Ive talked him through taking the PCB out and he said that the tracking is blown. So either the door lock or something else has blown it. So i’m going to have to take a look at it for him.
Thanks for all your help.

I tried out of desperation for about an hour, all different combinations. i would love to know what the hotpoint engineers are told to do when you can’t syphon the water out.
