Re: New Whirlpool dishwasher wash pump reliability

I’ve fitted three of these in the past year and have had one bounce on me.
I’ve had one of the other two go noisy for a while and settle down again (according to the customer who rang to complain and then rang back a few days later to say its gone quiet again). As soon as I saw they had changed the design back to the askoll type pump, I knew there would be problems.

Re: Smeg DW DI612CA9 Lower spray arm

Thanks for your help Mark. First two in stock but the 3rd is out of stock everywhere. Do you think this is essential. Basically the small spray arm is dropping off after every wash. Cant tell from the old one which side has worn. Small arm or the fitting.
    Thanks again.

Re: Siemens Dishwasher Module – No Model no –

No all they have is the instruction booklet and its just a generic one that covers the range. It was installed by a kitchen company that has, as luck would have it, now gone out of business.
    Its not looking good.

Yep Martin, i’m 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} positive on this. Done BSH for last 22 years and this doesnt have the etching. I was suprised, but I have seen a few of the latest models with just stickers on them.

Re: Siemens dishwasher SN65E000GB/01 Pump fault

Thanks for your insight on this Martin. The pump cover plate was loose in the bottom and thought that it could have been a problem but did the same when fitted correctly. I’ve got a pump on its way tomorrow and i’ll give it a go. Nothing to loose.
Still dont like these over the old design, but things have to move on.

    Thanks again

Re: Siemens SE64A630GB/44 Dishwasher not getting hot enough

Thanks for your help martin. I doubt it’s a dry heater relay or heater. I forgot to mention the programme does finish. It gets to the end, it’s just that the customers is saying its not very hot at the end and the pots haven’t washed very well. From experience with a dry joint it just washes forever, same with a duff heater. I’m pretty sure it will be a faulty module but I was just wondering if anybody has ever had any problems with an NTC on these machines. It’s the only alternative I have to it being a module.
    Cheers

Re: Age single oven with cut out faulty

Thats one thing I havent checked, but I asked her if its been cooking alright, ie burning. She said shes had no problems with it. In fact she said the last time it did it, she was using the grill. I checked again to see if the cooling fan was coming on when the grill reached temp and it did.
I’ll go back armed with another cut out and test the temp.
Like I say, i’ve swapped hundreds of these in the past and never had any recalls.

Re: Age single oven with cut out faulty

Yes, doesnt seem to be a problem with installation. I did think about that. I even just out of desperation asked the lady to remove the oven gloves from the front of the door incase it was stopping the fan from cooling efficiently. The oven has been built in for about 6 years and has only just started to do this recently.
    Thanks for you help
