check wires to and from motor, if theyre ok, and the motor checks out, itll need a new pcb.and a smartcard.and a reader to programme itthe number for the tip is on your local governement website

kwatt is right though, you need to be spending a whole lot more cash if you want reliability
if you think the whirpool is, in your words s**t, then you should steer WELL clear of the samsungs

it could also be the valve to the condenser has failed, a quick continuity test will confirm its function
