    Re: unsafe cowboys !!!

Quite right. I keep various terminal blocks in my van. I change loads. No point bodging them when they’re so cheap.i see many which are so badly installed they melt beyond recognition. I hate youtube. I’ve seen so many bodges, even people joining mans cable to it with button connectors , even twisted together and wrapped in tape.

    Re: Brexit Stage Left…

I’ll be more concerned when jimmy crankie starts her bid to leave the uk. Does she really think that leaving the uk will leave Scotland firmly in the European union/single market? It’s going to be an interesting year,Merkel is certainly in trouble, le penn and Wilders are gaining serious ground, Italy is definitely in turmoil and the European union as it stands is definitely on sticky ground. If only the idiots at Brussels would come back with some agreement about border control and shenzen, then maybe the another referendum is on the cards. I voted leave, and I know exactly what it entailed. It’s going to take a good few years for the uk to recover from it, but it will, how unscathed we are as a business is a different matter

    run like the wind

being an engineer doesnt matter… can you sell and what will you do when you dont hit their ridiculous targets

a ridiculously pointless trade test with 30 year old wiring diagrams and irrelevant questions all over it

then a 5 week training course in wales on out dated machines with weekly tests , including a 10 point check on how to wire a plug up…. youre owned… leave before 18 months and they will sue you for training costs

dont forget 12 jobs a day, nothing to chance and if you travel 45miles to a job and theyre not in, they will replace it and you cant say no…. and make sure you sell something to every customer or they will have you in on top of your 12 jobs

sell, sell, sell, sell, sell, sell , sell

    obsession

managers are awful, their team leaders are obsessed, the whole company is horrid
best thing i ever did was walk away, i nearly comitted suicide cos of their bigotry, simply awful

    love,

    me

    Re: carriage charges

I think its more a dpd thing

its getting harder out there, people are more internet savvy and think everything should be £3 . going to have to give them the option now of wanting it sooner, pay carriage or ill order off ebay.. prices are well better anyway, and most of them are from connect/ebay anyway

    its a joke

hi guys , have you missed me?

lol.. the first picture is actually not quite up to spec, the pipes arent supported at a regular enough interval

and all bayonet attatchments must be easily accessible for the consumer

    Re: Hoover Candy Group

so, hoover candy are at it again… they want someone to repair everything, be gas safe, f-gas, fix cookers, microwaves, etc etc

in return you might ‘possibly get some jobs’, paid at a ridiculously low rate

why cant hoover candy just go bust and do us all a favour

    Re: Hoover WMH147DF Control

Not shocked at Martins usual non helpful comments… Take a small blades screwdriver and gently force it between the lip of the knob and the fascia itself.. A quick twist of the blade will release the knob.. Pull it off and spray what u can see with switch cleaner

    Shimples

    Re: Hoover HNF7148 – HELP!

Do an insulation test on the heater… If the drain and pump function is ok, the heater is usually the culprit
