check the motor plug on the pcb.. ive had a few motors blow the board … its not a cheap repair.

yep, that stats faulty, its common that… give it a tap with a screwdriver, it sometimes resets it
its not an indesit that one

ParticipantRe: Bosch WF02865GB. Spin probs.
i thought they were supposed to do that?
as far as i was aware (and if you read the instruction manual) when you put the machine on a spin only program, it will default to a gentle spin.. its not a fault, its a feature, itll only actually do a full spin after a full program, which is a bugger to test.
i rang bosch tech about that issue, and thats the answer i got
if it aint doin fast spin after a full cycle, its either out of balance, or the pcb is faulty
hope this helps

ParticipantRe: comet
and still the rumours go round
comet have it well stitched up with d&g.. they give comet the work, cos its comet who give em the cyustomer info to sell the policies to.. then as the ber’s come in, they buy em off comet
halifax, norwich union, family fund.. the work is there, and no-one, especially comet will turn that down
theyre even doin icelans warranty, not to mention imc policy work
then theres the first/second year warranty work!
yep theres been quite a few engineer reductions, thats common knowledge, but thats just a cost cutting excercise… give em a chance, theyre only tryin to do their job like the rest of us!!

maybe its not emptying properly then…could be it never gets rid of the warm water from the wash?
only a thought

ParticipantRe: LG WD1255FHB Banging when spinning
all the ones ive seen have 3
if you look at the tub, if the 2 springs arent on the same place on the tub(either side), then theres one missing!!!
that would answer a lot of questions
id check that first, if its snapped, it will be in there somewhere….

or is it on a ‘y’ from the hot suply only? :rolls:

ParticipantRe: LG WD1255FHB Banging when spinning
are there 3 springs or just 2?
are all 3 on?
maybe, just maybe, theres sumthing stuck between the two drums (always remember ANYTHING is possible in whitegoods land!)
it really does sound like a drum support problem to be honest.. pulling at the drum doesnt always confirm this, but spinning a 7kg load at 1200 revs does, believe me, the only way to be really sure is to take it out and look, would explain the door seal bein gouged to be honest

ParticipantRe: LG WD1255FHB Banging when spinning
please, humour me
even though all machines use out of balance protection, theyre prone to not functioning correctly
have u tried the machine again since?
have u tried putting a full load in, ensuring that articles are placed in the drum one by one, so as to ensure they arent tangled…
make sure its got quite a good load, it could have been fooled into thinking its a good load, when it isntis your machine a direct drive or a belt driven one?
is it distributing correctly.. i.e are the clothes seperating and distributing themselves as u look in the drum when its distributing? (its not an easy thing to spot, does require some experience)
it could be distributing too fast/slow, not allowin the weight to be balanced
lgs arent prone to failure, in fact, theyre more reliable than most, bearings have been an issue on some models, but they tend to go more noisy than nething
let us know how u get on
thanx
