Participantits on the pcb itself
indesit/hotpoint do not sell the relay as a serviceable item
it all dependes how good you are, and how comfortable you are with electronics…
the CORRECT thing to do is to change the pcb and programme it with a laptop
OR send it to http://emwelec.co.uk/ who can repair it fior you
its not a cheap repair and are notoriously unreliable
theres one trader on here who will no longer repair f8 faults
im sure hell be along shortly

Participantnah, not if you spend PROPER money
look, its basically costing…. you will egt what you pay for
like don says, mid-high range bosch come with a 2yr warranty and have a great repair network if rquired…please dont listen to everything you hear, ask, we’re always honest and are more inclined to advise whats best for you
whatever you decide, good luck

Participantas i suspected, its a heater relay problem
it will re-occur, its just a matter of when, rather than if
especially when the machine is fully loaded
good luck

Participante60 is a generic heating issue
without going into diagnostics its difficult to be exact
e61 – Heater unit faulty. Wiring faulty. NTC sensor
incorrectly calibrated/out of position. Electronic
board faulty.e62 – Heater unit faulty. Wiring faulty. Electronic board
faulty.e63 – Thermostat faulty (replace heater unit). Heater unit
faulty. Wiring faulty. Electronic board faulty.take your pick… but if its intermittant, its more likeley a pcb issue
do you clean your condenser regularly?
February 28, 2010 at 8:23 pm in reply to: Indesit IS70C Condenser Dryer Not Collecting Water #313406helo_75
Participantbut there is no better cure than removing the condenser and REMOVING the ball of fluff thats covering the hole
pushing it away only lasts untill the water washes the fluff back
if you close your eyes and feel behind the condenser, u can feel the shaped moulding of the base, and pull out whats there

Participantunfortunately not
it would appear the pcb is faulty
have you checked the pump?
the service hole is for hotpoint.comet engineers to attatch their laptops , fault find and reprogrammingthe general public have little or no access to the correct equipment
to help correctly, from top to bottom, the top light being 1, which light is flashing? ( i.e light 4)
and we can advise better
thankshelo_75
Participanthttp://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/Tumble+D … citor.html
will cure your problem

Participantand how would that fill the immigrants pockets with our hard earned cash?
helo_75
Participantwould u like to tell me why u think the evaporator cover will be the first thing to go?
because from my perception, its because the cavity fills with gas, hence the explosion is liable to be centralised, so will push everything outwards, ie pushing the evaporator cover back towards the evaprator, the door ooutwards
given us a hell of a lot of work, with plenty more to come
the cure?
BUILD THEM PROPERLY IN THE FIRST PLACE
helo_75
Participantmade by the china refrigeration company
#gen p/num is 48010687if that helps
helo_75
Participantoh dear
u need to take the top off
look at the centre of the plastic drum, if its bolted together then you can access the bearings
if theres no bolts, and the seem is welded, u got massive problems
helo_75
Participantif its got one of the dreaded welded tubs, theres no chance of replacement of bearings?
what does it sound like when you turn it by hand, is there any up/down play?
helo_75
Participantwell
id be checking the plug top
but that faults usually a relay fault
