Participantdoor lock/brushes?
helo_75
Participantbecause the defrost heaters blow a hole in the evaporator, and the cystomer puts a fresh fuse in, then when somethin switches, ie the thermal fuse, sensor, etc. theres just enough gas to ‘blow the bloody doors off’

Participantyep
take off rear panel, remove pcb, open pcb holder, remove power plug, fit fuse board , then refit plug to fuse board, refit into board holder, put sticker on holder to show its been done, refit it, switch it on

Participantok, so look at the bigger picture
buy an ise.. trouble free drying for ten years
or
buy one of that merloni tosh.. ie hotpoint/indesit
buy another hext year
and one the year after
and the year after18 months at best for next one… not to mention all the phone calls, petrol and waiting in and days off
this WILL go on every 12-18 months, believe me
not exactly saving you money is it
people need to stop reading the corporate bull and accept the facts…
just look round the site as to how many dont heat/snap belts/drim shafts snapping/ scrape/ blow up/ dont dry .. that is if you can get in the dam thing cos the handle just broke off!
its obvious what im getting at, really

truly, amazing

Participantthe hot water to the dryer is purely to wash the filter, to keep it clean of fluff
thats the only reason its there
got nothing to do with the wash, that just uses cold!
we’ve discissed this in length before.. there are no known machines with hot and cold fill for a wash
