    Re: Reason W/M.

Cheers Chris, found some info from Google in your previous post.

Looks like a pile of S*** to me! What a hard ship having to bend down to load the washing machine, I bet they do not last. Have you ever seen one in the flesh or worked on one? The inventor looks abit like James Dyson and as mentioned the name Reason is in a similar font. I wonder if it just another idea that won’t take off like the Dyson Contrarotator. 😕

In his own promotional video he is VERY nervous which could point out that he is not telling the whole truth, also he uses words like possibly, so he isn’t even sure of his own product either! :rolls:

    Thanks,
    :penguins:

Mine could do with a new fluff filter – £14.00 inc. VAT and Delivery, not bad at all, could pick one up from their factory on my way to work!! Parts are very reasonable and easy to repair also. 😛

The equivalent on a Miele would probably be £500!! plus VAT, del. and they would probably insist on fitting the damn thing for you as well! :rotl:

    Thanks gandh1,

Also I do not think the White Knights are bad machines at all, there is alot worse out there, Merloni for example. 8)

    Cheers,

Re: The New Miele S7 Series Uprights

I have commercial Sebo’s for our house, also JohnsonDiverseys (Sebo in drag!!!) and are excellent machines, the S7 looks a little bit of a copy of the domestic range to me though! But not quite as good as the Sebo, bag is very small for a large machine. :rolls:

Thanks Helo_75, will pass that on!!

Nice to know White Knight aren’t too bad either, I’ve heard some horror stories, but if it breaks down it will be getting repaired (not into throwing good things away!! 🙂

Are Bosch any good these days? I have a 15 year old Bosch washer, but I fear their quality might not be as good as it was back then, but am happy with that as well! 8)

I also said avoid anything by Merloni like the plauge! Now thats shoddy rubbish! 🙁

    Much appreciated,
    😉

    Re: hotpointWD860 fan trouble

Not trying to be horrible but when you pay someone to do something (or not if its in the warranty period) you expect a good, safe job to be done. If I have to get that drum spider fitted to my Bosch I want a proper job doing that will last, well like you or Helo would do for instance, you must both do a proper job as you’ve both been in the trade for so many years!

You’ve done that for a customer? Should it not get a proper repair? Loctite crumbles away after a while! Looks like there is only 1 GOOD Comet engineer then eh Helo_75!!
    😯
Lord Help Us indeed, thats the sort of thing that makes people wary of engineers, no wonder it is hard to find a good one, even I know thats a bodged job. :rolls:

    Re: Dyson DC25 Animal

The DC01’s were a terror for cable breakages near the entry point, so thickening the cable, a damn good idea. Was using a DC01 when the cable broke and sparks shot out and burnt the vac! 😥

Thanks Phidom for the honesty! 😉

    Hi Chris

I haven’t got room for another machine, I had already considered it, need a bigger house! If what Phidom says is true it might be ok, hopefully. Have you ever come across a WFF2000 with a corroded spider? This washer seems extremely well built. Plus getting another machine up 2 flights of stairs with bends at top and bottom is a challenge, cannot use a sack cart, only man power!! :rolls:

    Thanks very much

    Re: Drum spider WFF2000GB/14

    Hi Phidom,

So basically do you think I would be wasting my money then?

This machines previous owner must have used liquid detergent, low temp washes and under dosed the detergent judging by all the limescale that has been removed. 🙁
When I got this machine you have never seen a mess like it! There was 1/2 an inch of scum on the tub, that is what you could see if you pull the door seal back, the rubbish that Ariel bio powder and Affresh washer cleaner removed you would not believe. So after all that there may be NO corrosion ❓

In the future if they discontinue the WFF2000 spider would another one fit it off a later model? Its unlikely to get messy from me, I wash everything at 60, run regular maintainence washes with Affresh and generally look after it! 8)

    Thanks
    😉
    Oliver
