    Re: hotpoint fhp motor

thanks for advice, found tacho wires chafing on motor body, ive insulated them not heared anything from customer for a few days so fingers crossed i must have been unlucky with my choice of second hand motors (its very rare i use second hand bits cos they can be too mush hassle as this experience reminds me)

    cheers paul

    Re: WMA30

not seen it do it she says its done it about three times in the last month i think she may be imagining it but ive asked her to try it for another week and report back to me (she also told me the softner wasnt going out of the tray and she said she’d cleaned it but it was blocked on the syphon when i got there i thaught she was going to accuse me of planting the gunk there?) just thaught id ask the question for when she rings up again.

    Re: widl146uk indesit w/d

just to let you all know im still on with this one ive had a couple of other engineers look at it cos i thaught im going mad they seem to think its a module fault as well one of them has had a module on order for a hotpoint which apparently there is a replacement module which fits most of the ranges now his & mine both change to this one which im hoping to try on my machine but everywhere seems to be out of stock i spoke to indesit last week they think it could be another couple of weeks till they are in stock. does anyone know if these boards have to be programed to fit different models or is it a straight swap? heeelllp pls

    thanks paul; 🙁

    Re: widl146uk indesit w/d

thanks for reply ive just got the module back from emw i sent it back for them to check but it all works ok on their test rig so im going back again tomorrow to scratch my head again (i was advised it could be an edge connector problem and was told to tighten the pins but this didnt work) its bound to be something simple im missing after all you dont get any more basic than an indesit. i will let u know if i solve it

    thanks paul
