    thanks for the replies, quick update, no earth faults or dry joints so I quoted for a replacement pcb, and now the machine has gone to appliance heaven, r,i,p you Chinese piece of junk

    ive tried another motor on it and still the same problem, there is the main pcb (top right)and a rectifier pcb(bottom right) any ideas if the rectifier one could cause this problem?

    Found a chafed wire next to the hinge, repaired it, job done 😉

    that’s the one I changed martin the one with the rubber plunger,
    baffling me this one. bet its something daft im missing

    I managed to get the motor going a couple of times but only after I had drained all the system before starting

    cheers dave, the switch is operating ok, ive checked the wiring loom back to the timer and all is ok,

    I use the blue & red ones but im looking for the ones with no insulation on the crimp.

    did you sort yours allan?
    ive got a indesit w/m and a hotpoint w/d with the same problem they will do the full spin but only drains for a few seconds.
    the hotpoint I disconnected everything apart from interlock, pressure switch and pump and it still did the same, but no error code

    it is in a garage, it just continuously flashes red and beeps 3 times repeatedly.

    its worth a try cleaning and tightening the connections on the pcb,
    it worked for me before.

    thanks for the replies martin, I changed the rear ntc and that seems to have sorted the problem, just had another one same model number with the filter light coming on, faulty pressure switch on that one.
