Morning James, I know you have acquired a couple of bits n pieces, but what exactly do you mean by ‘control panel’

Do you just mean the facia decor, soap drawer etc, or the complete panel with timer etc?

Re: Hotpoint Condenser Dryer TCL780 Only Heats Up On Set&For

The plastic controls knobs often break on these but that would tend to leave the machine stuck on just one setting.

It could be the top control module although I have not encountered this fault TBH.

That pcb is actually cheaper than the element assembly as well.

    Part number C00276945.

Components such as thermostats and elements should always be tested first with suitable equipment before just changing them on the off chance. 😉

Sorry, missed that about the recall in your first post.

Virtually all faults should generate an error message???

First and most important question, that dryer is almost certainly one of the fire hazard, recall models. Have you had it modified or registered it for the safety modification?

    Re: Ariston AFA250 fault

Not heard of anyone sourcing the thermistor for this pcb, fault could also be caused by the heater relay on the board breaking down under load.

Moved to correct forum, not a General Trade question.

3 months old yet not under warranty?

    Re: w/pool dw

    Hmm,

Partfinder shows at least six variants,

    ADG644IX/1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 9.

The 12nc (service number) number of those is 85116441585* the last number corresponds to each model, so an ADG644IX/1 has a 12nc of 85464415851 and so on, with ADG644IX/9 ending in 859.

I have checked and there are different motors fitted. 🙁

Re: Beko WM5100w drum & bearings

If your machine actually has a welded tub like THIS then you will not be able to change the bearings at all.

A simple job to find out, pop the lid off and look to see if your outer drum is like the one in that link or has a drum that is in two halves, secured by lots of screws all the way round.

You can change the bearings in that type but TBH if the inner drum shaft is damaged which is very likely then a complete drum assembly change is by far the best option. If you can actually acquire one for that price it would be the most sensible way to proceed.
