Can you still get the old style brownish coloured comm stick, old Qualtex number MIS85.
I find the white, chalk ones break very easily and you soon finish up with a few small pieces. 🙁August 28, 2016 at 2:23 pm in reply to: Indesit WIDL102 – Rapid Flashing (5+2 lights) too hot? #440534iadom

A fault on either the wash or dryer side thermistor should give a specific error code, horizontal lights 3+4 are a wash ntc fault, lights 1+2+4 is a dryer ntc fault. All four lights flashing steadily is a main pcb/heater relay fault which would give you constant heat.

Any idea what to look at first, John Lewis, Appliances Online, Currys 😉
The error codes on these are given by slowly flashing a combination of the top four horizontal lights excluding the door lock light so what you have is not an error code. The temperature control for the wash and drying cycles are entirely different components.
As it is not a recognised error code then diagnosis is difficult but the electronics on these are as flaky as they get so the main pcb is a strong contender and is not really a cost effective repair unless you send it off for testing and repair to the likes of EMW or QER.

Just deleted a first post by rayw99, he posted this which is mainly drivel but in a 12 year old thread. :rolls:
Hi Guys,
H20 Code Problems
1) If your machine never worked then there is a water supply problem with an H20 code.
This will be linked to a failure in water supply (most probably) or a kinked or ill fitted supply pipe.
2) If it works sometimes and not others that is more tricky and will be related to water pressure.Action: Remove inlet filter where water enters the machine. Do this only temporarily as it is there for a reason. If this resolves the problem, get a new filter or maybe leave the old one in a bath of Viakal overnight.
3) the pressure sensor is faulty. Time for a new machine

Thanks Martin, just need the person who fitted an expensive laminate floor very neatly covering both front feet making it impossible to screw them up to return and sort out his handiwork. 🙁

ModeratorRe: Dead Hotpoint WDAL 8640
It is a fault that is quite common TBH. If the mains cable, fuse in plug and the mains filter inside the machine where the cable enters are OK then this fault is often due to a faulty main circuit board, it is an Indesit after all. 🙁

Have to agree, zips go very quickly on those but again I am also guilty of trying to cram everything in. 🙁

Poland, you do surprise me, should have taken some pics, all stainless steel inside, really solid kit.
The only other one I did needed a drive belt and was located less than a mile from this one. 🙂

ModeratorRe: Indesit IWDC6125 – drain issue
Try and blow down the pipe after removing it from the pressure chamber end, there should be little or no resistance to this.
You don’t say which lights are flashing but as mentioned above it can sometimes need a reprogramming of the main pcb to clear. 🙁

Moved to correct forum. 😉
Not a recognised error code AFAIK?
Have you checked the drain pump filter for blockages?

ModeratorRe: Hotpint Ultima WT741
There are three capacitors close together, you should find the largest of them with the top ‘domed’ this is the one that needs replacing, value will be on the capacitor but make sure it is refitted with correct polarity.

ModeratorRe: Hotpint Ultima WT741
If you do mean ‘ALL’ of the lights flash rapidly then that is a well documented fault on the main power module in the base.
If you are handy with a soldering iron there is a capacitor on the board that is a common failure.iadom
ModeratorRe: AEG T56840L code E51
Not at all strange, the capacitor is used to kick the motor into action so if it is failing then it could stop at any of the times the machine reverses.
