ModeratorSadly I don’t have access to the latest fault codes, hopefully this ‘bump’ may come to the notice of someone who does.

ModeratorSome machines can suffer OOB as they get older, as the suspension weakens and on certain machines a very slightly stretched belt ( not obvious from looking at it ) can also lead to OOB.

ModeratorAnywhere hot and sunny?

ModeratorIs this spinner for sale? You could ask the vendor if when the lid is opened does the drum stop rotating after a couple of seconds or is there a few moment’s delay from operating the lid catch and being able to open the lid.

ModeratorVery few mechanical problems, brake cable adjustment/replacement needed occasionally and the rubber motor mountings can break but no other major faults. Surprised anyone would insure at that age. Cannot tell without seeing the rating plate but it’s got be the wrong side of 30 years old. Impossible to value without knowing if it is before or after interlocks where compulsory. The Antiques Roadshow would be the place to go.:D

ModeratorA very well made, ultra reliable little dryer. The market for single spin dryers dried up in the early 70’s when a tranche of safety features on all appliances came into law. Mainly interlocks on spinners, twin tub spinners and all automatic washing machines. The old wringer machines could not meet the safety standards so were effectively banned from being produced. As the main market for single spinners was from people with old style wringer machines the single spinner market shrank to very small numbers. Is it not working?

ModeratorIt’s a very old Hotpoint dryer, some also sold as Creda. Chances of any spares now virtually nil unfortunately. Possibly a model 1005 or 1006 but that information should be on the small rating plate on the back near the bottom of the spin dryer.

Moderator3+4 Is a communication error. It means the control panel module is not talking to the main power module in the base. It could be loose or broken wiring contacts, maybe inside the door. Can also be main module failure.

ModeratorIt does point to a control module fault .:( This is the one for your machine but availability of that and all other spares is patchy to say the least. https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/8080388-washing-machine-control-unit

ModeratorIf a member of the public posted this what is the first question they would be asked?:(
A trade member since 2006 and only your 2nd post?

ModeratorHave you tried to spray some switch cleaner into the area of the on/off switch? Do not use WD40, must be proper electrical switch cleaner.

ModeratorI am guessing that as it’s almost 4 years since the original post the OP has long since retired and like as not has found out that the only real value in the business of a self employed service engineer who works from home is himself and very little else. 🙁

ModeratorCould possibly be a CATA appliance although DW60 has been used by several manufacturers. https://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/…ctrodomesticos
Due to the extreme difficulty in obtaining or even identifying CATA spares you may have to resort to one of the many generic wheels available. You can find several here in our shop. https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/cata…+basket+wheels Or if you search Amazon for dishwasher basket wheels you may find something suitable.

ModeratorHappy New Year everyone.
Any thoughts on Stratfordgirls chances of getting £10,000 for an 11 year old van with 69k on the clock, 5 domain names and a registered trade mark?
