    Re: Zanussi filter

Give us the full PNC number and we can check, begins with 914*******

For many years the market leaders Hotpoint and Hoover did not have user accessible filters on them.

In those days people did tend to look after their machines better. If you carefully check all pockets, look out for loose buttons and don’t wash anything that is falling apart you will not need a filter.

Re: Creda ctd 00p condenser dryer

The fire brigade and certain electrical safety bodies are now advising people not to use the dryers under any circumstances until they have been modified, regardless of the advice from Whirlpool.

Re: Whirlpool to do a recall on Hotpoint dryers

On the ITV morning show right now, Alice Beer has gone to the USA to ‘try’ and question the Whirlpool management.

That’s a Hotpoint model number not a Creda????

Customer should be referred back to Hotpoint for major safety recall anyway.
Part is not listed as obsolete on Partfinder and is onlu ‘out of stock’ at Masterpart but that is par for the course. 😉

There is no safe way to bypass this switch either.

    Error codes are HERE

Not good news, could be loose or broken wiring, motor brushes but a strong possibility of main pcb failure as well.

    Re: Hotpoint ctd00g condenser seal

The only seal available is the very front seal, the spongy bits on the condensor itself are not available but something similar to those can be obtained from most major DIY chains.

See attached picture for the one seal you can get.

    PS. How’s your motorbike?

Shouldn’t you be pointing your customer towards the massive safety recall. Given the tragic events of the last few days do you want to risk repairing one?

    Re: Hotpoint WDL540 Aquarius problem

No, the heater relay is on the main pcb. Wouldn’t do any harm to check the dryer element but you should get different error codes if element, fan or ntc are faulty.

    The error codes are HERE

Not easy to follow from that page I’ll grant you, your lights are 1+2+3+4 reading those codes from right to left.

You have error code F15, possible heater relay fault.
