Once had one that welded the timer contacts together.

For the cost of a new interlock I would strongly advise you to change it now. A common fault on old interlocks can lead to them shorting across internally. This always leads to expensive damage elsewhere.

THIS ONE should be what you need.
It fits many more models than listed there.

Part of the wash pump on these but there are two different ones, not that cheap either.

Error code is still “supposed” to be a turbine fault. Drain pump will often run continuously in error mode. Especially it thinks it is overfilling. No mention of it in the manual but I’m guessing a pressure switch problem could lead to similar errors.???

All the lights or just the three vertical lights?
Error codes on all appliances are only a guide and we can only follow the details from the manufacturer. Sadly the electronics in this Indesit made appliance are some of the least reliable on the market so anything is possible.
Can you trace the wiring from the turbine back to the module and check it for continuity?iadom

Is the TOC17 still available from Qualtex?
If not I may have a spare one Evren.

Check pump for obstructions, no practical tests you can really do on door lock.
Can you not identify the area of the loud noise?
I did have one recently, a much newer machine doing a similar thing and that turned out to be the pcb sadly.

Nothing obvious from that picture, checking the motor brushes and commutator, drain pump and door interlock next possible steps.

Although the moulded plug is often a source of such faults on other machines as well, in 99.9{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of cases it will trip as soon as it is plugged into the socket with that fault. 😉

Remove the mains plug and check the main pcb in the base for any obvious signs of damage.

(The older square rear bearings seemed to last forever.)The new backplate includes the teardrop bearing.
The previous phosphor bronze, square bearing didn’t last two minutes, that’s why they changed to the teardrop bearing which itself only lasts a little longer.
The bronze square bearing and the even older square plastic bearing used to last years until they decided to save money by removing the jockey pulleys and changing to the stupidly tight ‘stretchy belt’. That was the very point at which the rapid bearing failure started.
That is why my 16 year old Hotpoint TL61 still has its original rear bearing and has had just one belt and a pair of jockey pulleys in all that time.
