Same as before, open it up and all will be revealed. Sounds like something has got into the drum and damaged the heater, no doubt the metal clip that keeps the heater in place has been mangled. Why not take out a drum lifter and look through into the drum?

Error codes are displayed by flashing a combination of the six programme lights, ECO & FAST suggest lights 3&4 which is supposed to be a drain time out.

Most common cause is a blocked drain pump.

The hinge pins often break or fall out on these.

It will have to be pulled forward slightly to examine them though, or you may just be able to see if the pin has come loose from underneath the front. 95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of parts still available, not that difficult to change.

It probably means its a pile of Indesit/Chinese junk. 🙁

As it was only the customer who ‘alledgedly’ saw light 1 on I would go with the error codes for lights 3 & 5.

And I can confirm that the error codes for this have been in the Known Error codes thread since June 2004. 😉

Never had a drum go out of shape, only way to find out is to completely remove the inner drum.

Just returned from this machine, god I hate kitchen fitters. 😈

There was something in the drain pump, but it was very quiet when pump should have been running.

Took a photo of the obstruction because neither myself or the customer have any idea what it is, it is a small black plastic square, very slightly wedge shaped.?????

    Will post it later.

I laid down on the floor and listened carefully but couldn’t hear even the slightest hum Mark.

The small tacho has not been available as a spare for Hotpoint motors for years. That one is for an Indesit motor but it doesn’t look like it will fit the Welling motor.

Good luck Cliff, only ever did one White Knight condensor dryer belt, wont do another. :rolls:

Makes the Hoover/Candy belt change look simple. 🙁

I’ll bet you didn’t have the square, open block with a threaded bar that was used to drive the pins out of the gyrator drive cubes on the 1200/1400 wash gearboxes. 🙂
