That model of ISE if totally different to the ISE10 range and was discontinued years ago.

As for load sizes you may be surprised to hear that the average load size in the UK is far less than 3kg.

    Good article HERE

The belt that fits the 1983 models onwards is a C00208989, or a 1740876.

A good chance it would fit but any number/letter you can find with a J in it will help.

If it has 1600J3 on it then the number above is correct.

Can you see any numbers on the belt or have they all rubbed off. That model is so old it doesn’t feature on the official parts software.

Do you have a proper model number, 75/400 is not one. Look on the back for a stick on white label. Number will begin with 37****.

You can easily check if the belt has gone by removing the top, after taking out the mains plug of course.

DrDill wrote:50 on a single carriegeway and 60 on a dual and motorway just as i said, as far as i fan recall a comercial vehicle has never been 70 on a motorway, always been 60, when i started i yse to have a escort estate van which had 2 seats folded in to the rear floor, classed as car derived van and car speed limits applied.,

Not used a van for over 35 years apart from rental. Drove all types of vans when I worked for Hotpoint. I seem to recall something about window area behind the doors being relevant to the speeds allowed.

If it had normal van doors and solid side panels then van/commercial speed limits applied. If it had a certain area of glass behind each of the doors then then 70 mph limit applied on motorways. Any estate car with full windows would be allowed to drive at 70mph on motorways.

Of course I could just have imagined that but I think that was correct at the time. ❓

I think the OP was alluding to Currys lack of customer service compared to JL. 😉

Wrong side, should have laid it on it’s left hand side or on it’s back . 🙁

Strong chance of water running into the pressure switch the way you did it.

Sod’s law, if there is a right way and a wrong way and you don’t know (or don’t ask) chances are you will do it the wrong way.

    Re: Caravans!

When I had my caravan I never held up any traffic, always towed with a big Volvo so could keep up a decent speed up or down hill.

Having worked for many years on farms, both full time and later at weekends I was more than capable of reversing anything.

Toured round France and throughout the UK with my Eccles Elite Jade. 8)

Sold it many years ago due to not being able to use it much at weekends. 😥
