Re: Hotpoint WMM39A very short spin

Could be a loose tacho magnet, have seen them come loose on FHP and CESET motors but you should get a different last error code for that. Does sound as though the pcb is at fault but the chances are that something else has blown the triac. 🙁 give all the wires in the motor plug a good tug first, they are prone to breaking without being obvious.

    Module is a C00202236 ( 1604321)

Have you tried the last error detected routine for the WMA machines shown in the Known Error Codes thread, it is the same basic machine?

It was in one of the boxes that come up across the forum pages at the top and bottom, it was in the public forums, assume those are Google?

Not really spam at all but I have just seen a banner add for NAC flashed on screen. :rolls:

Re: Drum spider ? Should I bother repairing or just replace

Never, ever had one squeak after fitting new bearings, only heard the low speed, seal squeak on machines a few years old with original bearings, even then it rarely caused a problem long term.

None at all, there used to be a spacer between the bearing and the seal but that was removed and the thicker seal was used which as you have noticed covers the drain hole anyway.

F01. Motor triac short circuit. Check motor & module connections, faulty pcb a likely cause. 🙁

Might be hard to find one, don’t recall ever using one myself.

Could we make this a little clearer, you are asking if anyone has one of these, not if anyone knows the part number. ❓

There seems to have been a rash of people answering posts that are from years ago recently, does nobody look at the date before answering. 😥

Is this machine under five years old?
