    Re: Creda TVR2 Wiring Diagram

As well as the competency issue Rule 8 also allows for the fact that wiring and circuit diagrams are proprietary in nature and as such it would be a breach of copyright if we were to distribute such information, this would include photos of any proprietary information should any member have such, which I doubt.

    Hope this assists

    Jon hi

We are service agents for Rangemaster and have access to their internals service information.

We are not permitted to give the website information out as you would then have access to our spares and payment account.

The part info you have given looks like a Connect reference number. Connect hide the genuine part number in case you look elsewhere and find it cheaper.

    Jon

You may have the wrong model number as usually they are only 4 digits long.

Assuming your on about model 7863 which comes back as a 60cm single built in oven in cream/chrome then the oven fan motor is part number 934342000 and the cooling fan motor is 934342200.

    Re: Haus dishwasher won’t fill

Haus and ProAction are brand names owned by Argos, so it is the same unit.

The item is produced by MIDEA, a Chinese Producer.

The water valve is not a common failure for this unit, however the control PCB on this unit is notorious for failing and causing all sorts of problems.

Argos DO NOT sell parts for out of warranty product, primarily because they want you to buy a new product.

They have a PCB in stock at £110.00 at the moment, which is 75{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the cost of a new one.

Best advice would be to bin it and replace it.

    Re: Microwave from Comet

    K et all

When Comet appointed the administrator, the legal effect was to cease that business forthwith, from that second it no longer existed.

A new co would have been formed by the administrator, the administrator then trades the company until they turn it into a liquidation or sell it to a third company. The administrator has certain privileges and some protection from claims for faulty/damaged goods.

Now the problem you have is as the original Comet Co no longer exists the buyer has no ability to claim from them under the SoGA. The Comet Co in administration will only last a few months and will fob you off where ever possible and once it sells or transfers to Liquidation status, the In Administration company also ceases to exist so there can be no further claims under the SoGA with them.

If it is sold usually to a third company lets say Comet 2013 Ltd then they refuse to accept any liability as technically they didn’t sell it. Sometimes the buyer will accept the liabilities if its negotiated within the sale but those are usually ore agreed packaged ones, which this isn’t.

Unless you can trace a willing manufacturer to honour a warranty then your pretty much stuffed.

This is why sometimes administrators sell off stick cheap, because they have no liability for it once the sale has gone through, Caveat Emptor!!!!!

    Hope this makes some sense.

DrDill is IMHO correct, dump it and buy another I am afraid.

    Re: PCB replacement??!!

My point was in relation to the Cust needing to spend an additional sum to buy the card reader needed to program the machine. It effectively adds another £100 retail to the cost of the repair for the OP.

To me that’s nothing but ripping the end user off and flys blatantly in the face of customer service. It is only a card reader which could easily be built onto the pcb itself resulting in the need just for a smart card.

Given that the electronics are really poor and known to be so by the manufacturer it again demonstrates what this particular manufacturer feels towards the end user.

We work for all sorts of manufacturers and most don’t force the end user into buying specialist tools to complete the repair; most provide programmed and unprogrammed versions, or a programming mode via the user interface thus negating this problem so Merloni seem to deliberately causing the issue for some reason.

I am in total agreement on the other points you rightly mention.

Best wishes and keep up the good work you do on here madangler, I for one appreciate your input.

    No probs,

It makes life a little easier then as advertising will no doubt being interest from some quarters which may not be conducive to enduring peace and harmony within the team.

Also remember applications for the management team need to come from nominees a month in advance, no nominations by the required date means no need to change things, it’s up to those wanting to come on board to apply in due time.

You can, of course co opt those you want on the team whenever you want them, without notification.

    Best wishes
