    Re:

Personally, I think we are all being played by the powers that be within JTM/0800 Repair.

I have to say, the photo was outrageous and I am glad it was posted on here so those in the trade can see the quality of SOME of their guys but I think it was a little too much to then repost it on 0800’s sites and as a result some unfounded venimous backlash is being made.

I am not for one second condoning the posts by the two 0800 idiots but I can understand why their backs got up.

I was speaking with PF at JTM Contracts about it the other day and for some strange reason he sees it as publicity.

What do you guys think will happen it we just ignore the thread for a while. It seems to me that if we dont bite at the carrot, they might just get bored and go away.

    Just my thoughts, guys

Re: Lamona (Howdens) HJA3220 oven door

    Tony Hi

I beleive this is actually a Hoover produced product. If it is then the outer door is part number 42804501 and its in stock at a cheaper price with CDSL.

The serial number should incorporate the Hoover product code of 33700814, if it does then Bobs your uncle.

Smeg SE335…tripped fuse box, now not heating up

Sounds very much like the fan oven element has failed.

Power off before investigating further or if needing a reliable local engineer use the Find an engineer link on this site.

I thought you only need to register if you wanted to set up a limited company.

Correct, if you do this it means no one else can register the same Limited Company name as you.

It isnt as simple as paying £18 for registration. You will be required to comply with all aspects of the Companies Act, which will include annual declarations and pay the appropriate annual registration fee. Not doing so is a criminal offence 👿

Unless you have sufficient turnover, or expect to get to a significant level of turnover, employ numerous staff and have the potential for running up significant lines of credit and want to eventually protect yourself as an individual from any potential losses, I wouldnt bother if I were you.

    Lawrence hi

According to the technical I have this model was one of only 30 units sold by PABL in 2006. PABL having gone bust several times since then, I doubt very much they are going to be available anywhere.

Cetainly the current PABL incarnation dont stock them.

    Sorry!

If still available it is 040710009904R.

Check with Masterpart for availability as Nardi went bust a couple of years ago.

Re: LG Tumble drier RC8001B BE fault code

No not the door microswitch. There is another one down by the motor bracket to make sure there is tension on the belt.

Often the microswitch falls out of the housing and it then thinks the belt has broken giving a BE error.

On attendence first check to see if the belt is on and tensioned, if not check this microswitch is still in place, if it is the most likely is the switch has failed, followed by the harness.

If you need the service manual, exploded views or parts listing, PM your email address and I will send it over to you.

My engineers do these all day long and reckon its a 20-30 minute job.

    Hope this helps
