    Hi

Lets put it this way from and our view as a company with over 40 years experience of all brands from Bosch and Miele to Servis and Indesit.

Two of my engineers have actually bought one each for themselves. They had had just received the comprehensive training needed to service them and can see the quality of them.

As one of them said, “they should re rate the appliance from AAA to SSS. Simple to use, Simple to repair and Strong enough to out last almost everything else.”

If my engineers think that of an appliance, you can bet your last pound note it gonna be a good one.

    Hi Chrish

I am sorry to hear of your girlfriends news, I hope things get sorted quickly for her. Whilst not detracting from the seriousness of her position, thankfully the matter is restricted to material possessions rather than physical injury.

I am not aware of any recalls to the model described but I would suggest you contact GIAS, the manufacturers service company for full clarification.

With regards to compensation claims and such like, I do not think this is correct place to discuss this particular matter and again I respectfully suggest you seek professional advice. Your local trading standards or citizens advice bureau would be more equiped to deal with your enquiry.

Good luck with getting the matter sorted.

    Hi

Are you after the part numbers or the actual spares from here?

If its the part number then the fridge side evap cover is now modified to give a complete unit with a better fan and air circualtion. The part number is DA63-00217L I think these are available from Electrue.

If you get stuck with sourcing them send me a PM and I will see what I can do

Re: How old is a Servis 9635 w/m?

    Martin hi

This is not a Servis UK (merloni) appliance. The model number referes to a Servis Domestic Appliance Limited machine and as they went into liquidation on the 21/03/1989, the machine must have been manufacturered prior to that date.

I would therefore suggest the appliance is 20 years plus old.

The bill is aimed to those individuals whom come into contact with vulnerable groups on a consistent and regular basis.

For most of us this would not be the case and therefore there would not be a need to submit to the checking process. However, if you hold a service contract for say a mental health nursing home or a school kitchen and as part of the make up of your business you attended the property for more than 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of your working time, you would need to submit yourself and your staff to the relevent CRB checks.

With this in mind I wonder if Mr Blair will request the cabinet to undergo the required checks as I think the government would certainly fall into a vunerable group, after all some seem to behave like spoilt little children as part of their job.
    😀 😀

    Hi

I think from memory it relates to the NTC on the dryer or the dryer fan motor.

Remember any tests to conduct should be done with the appliance disconnected from the mains supply for your own safety.

If in doubt use a qualified engineer, one can be found at the home page on this site.
