ParticipantRe: EPOS Question
Peter
You need to get your facts right before spouting rubbish, I can put the emails up between Phil and Paul if you want me to, which will include repeated assertions from Paul that the account wasn’t / isn’t on stop!
Aprils payment is outstanding we are happy to confirm, as we are likewise happy to confirm arrangements were agreed to settle this between us and Paul. Junes payment isn’t due until the 15th so you are talking crap.
However as you seem to be Paul’s spokesperson and speak on his behalf I will inform my directors of the “On Stop” situation so they don’t pay for stuff they are not getting.
As his spokesman so everyone knows what could be potential problems should they wish to invest the £1200 or so he charges for his software:-
Please confirm where Paul is based, is he in the UK or is it Canada?
Please confirm he is able to deal with any issue relating to his software at 9am GMT Mon – Fri; or would it have to wait until he is awake in Canada (some 5 hours) time difference to the UK?
Please confirm how many staff/programmers he has available other than himself and what would happen regarding software issues/problems should say he be hospitalised for any period of time. Just so we know that ongoing support other than via Paul himself is available as people should understand the consequences of putting extremely valuable data into a system that through no fault of there own might not be available to them and how long they would last in business if that were the case.
When you correctly advise on the above, let people decide if they want to use the software themselves based on the truth.

Will do, thank you Martin.
No I don’t have access personally.
I have his mobile at present as I need to be able to answer his calls for him and every so often some message comes up to log in.
Hopefully, he will be well enough to come home either late this week or early next week and he can have his phone, laptop and iPad back. Problem there of course is, he will want to be back at work and all that, which is dangerous.

He is moaning about not having his mobile or iPad in hospital so he must be getting better!
As soon as he has one of them I am sure he will be back on here doing his thing.

He is in hospital.
He has cancer and as a result of the chemotherapy treatment he was having, it screwed up one of his Kidneys.
He had to have it removed last week.
I am doing his job this week and next.
We are not sure when he will be back as there is a big risk his remaining one could have problems too.

Don’t trust Hatchgate systems if you want it long term! Your business has to fit there model not the opposite way round.
Also Hatchgate are a one man operation based in Canada, if it goes wrong then bear in mind he won’t be available for at least half your working day.
Heaven forbid he gets ill as your royally stuffed for support if he does.
If your after a long term investment in your business, look elsewhere, to someone whom is UK based, and has the facility to continue to assist you in the event of a loss of a key member of staff.

So did you clear the no fill problem, if so how?
To go from no fill to over fill is strange so we need to understand what you did.
An overfill problem would lead to a faulty valve possibly first and then to a check of the pressure switch hose and bottle to ensure they are not crudged up and then to a look at the pressure switch itself.
Come back to us with what you have done so far first

ParticipantLPG Gas Ovens
Sorry I forgot to answer one if your questions.
Technically yes any gas oven is capable of being converted to/from LPG.
The jets inside the burners have different sized holes in them to allow the different density gas to flow through them and combust with the right amount of air to burn correctly.
The manufacturer should always be able to supply the necessary conversion kit.
They should ALWAYS be fitted by a suitably qualified gas safe engineer whom will be able to confirm the correct combustion is taking place.
Conversion is not something suitable for an unqualified engineer as death can result if not done properly.
Also, some sort of electrical feed will be needed to both the hob and the oven to operate the ignition systems.

ParticipantRe: LPG Gas Ovens
The Hoover OVG505/3 range is a built in single gas oven (both oven and grill are gas) and it compliments the Hoover hob you mention.
Whilst it doesn’t come with the LPG conversion kit actually with it, the conversion kit can be easily purchased which your installer can fit for you.
We regularly service the predecessors to this unit which are 10 plus years old.
They are available in white (add w to the end of the model number) or stainless steel (add x to the model number).
Good luck

I didn’t say the model was obsolete, I said the part was.
And currently those within the 12 month warranty are being exchanged when this part fails.
Unfortunately it’s what happens when the Chinese make a £100 dishwasher.

If it’s not showing an error code (blinking lights on the front) then it will be the main PCB which is obsolete now
